I got a 3 lack term for 30 yrs at the age of 35yrs for Rs.1530/- plus ST at12.36% which is common. If you are a agent of only above companies plese dont boast. Give true knowledge. Sailesh
I think this article is very biased and probably written by some agent of Kota/Metlife/ICICI I am 32 years old and plan to take a 50 lac cover next week. I was already in midst of comparing various premiums when I came across this article. As per the table and my requirement, KotakLife is supposed to offer the cheapest loan. However I have compared the premium to HDFC, ICIC, LIC, SBI and guess which is the most expensive?? KOTAK... SBI seems to be the cheapest... any agent batter plan tel me on my email dhavalrana@rediffmail.com

I just took a 50 Lacs cover from Reliance Term Insurance. No doubt, it was cheapest. But their customer service is sick. It has been 5 months since I paid the premium, they have not sent the policy and I have called their customer care and the employee who took my cheque endless times and it has been encashed also. They are really sick. I suggest you take policy from some reputed place even if premium is 1-2000 extra. I don't think with such Reliance Insurance will give the money to your dependents even if you die. I believe that SBI is the second cheapest and they should be honest to their commitments. To know more about my experience about Reliance, you can call me on 9911686688

I agree partially with Nilesh. I did comparison before taking term plan. My age is 28. I found MetLife the cheapest interms of premium. Next is Max New York Life. MetLife and Max Newyork life premium rates includes all taxes service taxes while other comanies levy taxes on shown premium figure. so better clarify before purchase. MetLife is having very less branches in India. Difference b/n Metlife and Max new york life premium is marginal and MNY Life is having pan-india presence. Kotak / ICICI / Relaince / HDFC are costlier. LIC is also costlier. Shreyas Patel

I also agree with you what have mentioned is not perfect and this are not the cheapest plans.i would suggest when u go for term plan, dont just go through the cheapest premium, also get to know the claim settlement also.God forbid somethings happens the family have to face problems. It is not necessary cheap premium means claims settlements are good.See also claim settlement of this companies. Also get to know what are the additional features they offer. My mail id is rajivmenon_8@rediffmail.com

I also searching 1Cr term plan, none was in the mentioned range. I am looking for deal. Contact me at tjain@rediffmail.com.
The article does not mention that Insurance Cos. load term policy premiums, even on the slightest pretext. I've tried several companies and had a harrowing time going through medical tests and then being offered policies with inflated premiums -- loaded by 50 per cent to 132 per cent -- all because I was 'overweight' by 10 kilos!
