Wrong Billing & Mentally Harrassement
by AKHILESH GUPTA on Sep 19, 2008 01:46 PM  Permalink

Dear Sir,
This is regarding wrong billing and Mentally Harrassment by Axis Bank. I am using Axis Credit Card No.4718630000958776. I use this card only 1 time and I am facing difficulties. Once they credit the due payment amount in my Saving Salary Account. After this Axis Bank generated wrong statements. Then after lot of requests Axis Bank reveressed late payment charges near about Rs.2500/- and conveyed me through SMS that please deposit Rs.220/- and clear the bill. Even I did not receive any statement. That time i was on the tour. I deposit the cheque amounting to Rs.220/- after 2 to 3 days just after receiving the sms. I was surprised when I again receives the sms in the next week, they doubles the due payment. Sir, I am requesting your good self to please look into the matter. The bank is horribly giving me mentally harrassment by generating a wrong statements. I would appreciate your help in this regards. My contact number is 9779022703 / 9216922703 and my email-id is akhgupta@rediffmail.com.
Eagerly waiting for your help

Thanks & Regards,

Pls take this up with your local obudsman ..and the bank would have all calls recorded, so they would be able to pick up the call, and if the enrollment is illegal , would need to compensate you for the mental pressure and also refund full amount.

I was using a Credit Card of ABN AMRO but I decided to close the acount and asked them to close it. ABN people said that I need to pay the balance and we will send you the Settlement letter. I got the same and I paid the amount in cash. after almost six months I received the bill asking for the payment again.

I have the settlement letter with me with the envelop as well. What should I do?

Unexpected harassment Standard Chartered Manhattan Credit Card
by Nirupam Roy on Aug 22, 2008 09:16 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I am Nirupam Roy, credit card no. xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx, had received the e-statement of Manhattan credit card for the month of August 2008 and surprised to see the bill amount Rs. 2499.95 (BHARTI CELLULAR LTD KOLKATA).

I had contacted with MANHATTAN card department (helpme@manhattan.co.in) regarding this matter. They sent me dispute declaration form and told me that send us the scanned dispute form duly filled, signed & clear copy of the front & back of the card along with this form to our e-mail id.

I don’t know the transaction date, Merchant name(knew through the e-statement of Manhattan credit card), reference number, so how will I fillup the dispute declaration form? I did not purchase anything last 2/3 months through this credit card and the credit card store in my personal file at all times. Who will bear the miscellaneous expenses (print, scan, internet & valuable times) for the unexpected harassment bill that was not my fault?

I want to know, how bank paid any bills submitted by the Merchant, without my signature on the Merchant’s bill? I requested to the bank, please send me the copy of Merchant’s bill on which basis you debited the amount from my credit card but they did not response.

Standard Chartered Bank insisted to me fillup the dispute declaration form as per given the e-statement of Manhattan credit card.

Should I fillup the dispute declaration form and send clear copy of the both side of the card along with this form ?

Thanx & Regards,
