i don't see three decades of surrogation from sex as a problem but as it has been discussed that sex is also a biological act...that means our body is ready for it as soon as we mature and by and large, we will be subjected to sexual stimulation under typical circumstances as we age...
among all the primates, if dolphins, human beings and the one i forgot just now, have sex for pleasure, then we have obviously accepted the fact that sex can also be enjoyed without emotion...but i don't see everyone agreeing with me right now...
consentual sex is a natural form...in the animal world, its not always the dominant male who has the first and the last choice to mate...therefore, being robbed of one's choice could give rise to different complications, humans included...
being single and not experimenting with sex is a matter of choice as well...it is to be appreciated at all cost...but let's not forget that the body also gives away at a certain age...which points out, how long can you remain single?...four decades? five?...
Before saying whether I agree or not.Let me point out that its purely personal what one feels abt sex.That's an altogether different matter whether u do it outside or inside the gambits of marriage.
But I think whatever positives or pleasure or arguments u state for sex outside marriage its always safe to do it aft marriage and I agree fully with the author.Sex outside marriage is always bound be risky and therefore more adventurous.But adventure can lead you to accidents if you don't take necessary precautions.
Hope that point makes it clear.The author has clearly defined things closely associated with sex.That has to be there to enjoy sex fully otherwise what;s the difference b/w humans and other animals????
Being a male, I do drool at the mere sight of female form and do things mentally that can put my dog to shame, but I still uphold what the author states in her article.
She's not a prude or old fashioned or frigid, she's sane and sentimental. And, more importantly, she's her own boss, bravely resisting peer pressure.
What promuscuity leads to is decadence, justlook at the West and see where they've reached. Thankfully, this trend is still slow in coming into our country.
So, the course of action to my mind is get married and make beautiful music together happily ever after, but keep your imagination fertile by not reining in your mind's horses!

as per this article ur friend gave u some suggestion why one can have a sex fling...and beside all these suggestion..u seemed not convinced...
but to me life is always an update, if you use a computer every second day there is an update to me it better..u can say like msn..the versions are changed every 6month.. it started from 5 and now it ave reached till 7.5 version...could u tell me why!!
and its same for life also, what thinking people were having in 80s or 90s..it need to be updated as now its 2006...so to me ur version seem to be old and it got to be updated.. for the better life..

Comparing a software to life is the most weird thing i have come accross , so by ur analogy would u change ur wife every couple of yrs?
This is very true to have sex with only one in whome u have faith and with u have relationship of marriage.I have seen people doing sex for pleasure but the real fact is that they never get mental satisafaction rather than physical one.When such people are alone or in trouble ,will always look for the person who will share the things(happiness and sorrows) with them.Then where all the sex goes when these free guys get into trouble and then only the situations like suisides and crimes occur.
God has made every animal with sexual organs to get pleasure but made only man to understand the feeling behind the sex and what relationship u have to develope.Nowadays diseases like aids are very much spreading in humans.So if you wanna enjoy the sex,enjoy it with ur life partner.You will get both mental as well as physical satisfaction and you will be free of disease and also u will help the world in spreading such dangerous diseases in the world.
I completely agree with you. Its not just the matter of two bodies but its a matter of emotions, sentiments and feelings. Only this thing makes us differ from the other animals and we have been called as human 'beings'
I am in complete agreement with ur comments and views on the subject.
This is the reason why marriage as an institution is losing it's relevance in today's society. I am not against advancements, change, learning but in the process should not compromise on the value system.
All our actions must be rooted in a strong value system that should aim to build honesty, respect for each other, tolerance to divergent views etc.

No one can also accuse you of anything bad as prude etc., etc., In fact does the media and our so called "friends" go around calling those who "sleep around" anything bad? Why should the blame always be on those who maintain their discipline? Personally I wouldn't like to marry a person who indulges in such illicit behaviour and so it would be hypocritical for me to indulge in such behaviour myself.
