Sreeshanth was due for a slap or more then hatfrom any of the international player. It was good that it was Harbhajan who did the needful..... Sreeshanth has to learn to control his agression which is so irritating that anyone can get bugged with that. Sleding is controleed to only diturb ones concentration and what sreeshanth is doing is typical provoking acts in front of opposite players. It is supposed to be gentlemen gama and till date India has carried very well the image but sree was doing which was totally against that. Even his behaviour with seniors is questioned at times..... I dont support harbhajans act but good that sreeshanth is safe and will think atleast a 100 times before dancing of any international player such as Nell and Hayden..

Yeah, I think so as well. At times the rule controls you, at times the audience control you, at times the opposition and the last to do that would be your Captain who actually lets you free to make you comfortable and get the best out of you. I think, having seen all these captains, at least one could have said to Sreeshanth/ Bhajji- Enough of it.....play the game or get out of it. Kumble's words are brilliant to the extent that you should know how to conduct yourself on and off the cricket field as you are representing the heaven of cricket- India. Dhoni is doing certain things right by letting every one know in the team that if not him there is a bench strength of 150 guys who are waiting for a chance. So, its common sense that they behave themselves atleast to keep up their place in the team.
Harbhajan sustained minor injuries in March 2002 in an altercation with police outside the team hotel in Guwahati. The scuffle broke out when Harbhajan remonstrated with police officers after they refused to allow a photographer into the hotel. Harbhajan was struck by the police, cutting his bowling arm and injuring his elbow. Extensive negotiations from local officials and organisers were required to dissuade Harbhajan and captain Sourav Ganguly from leaving the area after Ganguly said that the Indian team would abandon the scheduled match against Zimbabwe

If that's the case, Ganguly was wrong for supporting Bhajji even though he was wrong. Ganguly should now be banned along with Bhajji and Sreesanth!!!!!
Sreesanth should also be baneed so that he can learn lesson.. it is good to show aggression but with ball not on face.. Sressanth is no where in all time great bowler like - Akram, Mcgrath or even Donald they show real aggresion with ball.

do not worry about Sree. If he do not show any improvement in his present form he will get automatically sacked. The competition is getting fierce here. No future for weaklinks.
Earlier in a Ranji match, Manoj Prabhakar hit Maninder Singh with his bat during a fight on the pitch itself. But after that Both Maninder & Manoj were banned for some matches. But in this case only Bhajji has been punished where as the Board is not even willing to listen to any complaint against Sreesanth

jv i think you a stupid sardar,go and remove your turban and have some fresh for your brain if you have some.
Kumble is right in his opinion..Players like Harbhajan and Sreesanth seems to be an illiterate and may be belonging to a low class family where there is no money and education..they are unable to handle sudden rush of money and fame..

It all depends on individual character and upbringing. Perhaps, Harbhajan and Sreesanth were not discouraged from this obnoxious behaviour in their childhood.

Kumble talks like a proffessor. And in life you cannot have book like solutions. You have to face situations and hit back when someone's hitting you. I can understand his teacher like approach considering the fact that in the South people have not seen any war for centuries now. Life cannot be in Black and White...as long as there is humanity there will be greed, aggression, selfishness, love, compassion and so on and so forth
