this is not a rumour. it is still unofficial now but anytime they might give a press release. they r supposed to be getting some specialist from usa. May be that is the reason for the delay in announcing.

that a betting cartel could had a hand in Woolmer%u2019s death. Sarfraz Nawaz has alleged to PTI that the coach was on the verge of filing a report against some of the top cricketers and officials who were linked to a massive match-fixing racket after his team%u2019s loss against Ireland, and that cost the coach his life.

The other day a friend speculated that woolmer might have been murdered, I laughed it off. But now he shockingly seems to be right. Hope this news is just a rumour, if its true the spirit of world cup and the game will be lost forever.

Deepti..where did you stumble on such news..can you share the link..there are conspiracy theories abandon and why not? Pakistan is such a country..dictators and fundamentalists..one general pissed off can do anything..
Current Bangla Stat For =304/94.5=3.2 Against =502/96.0=5.23 NRR=-2.01
If Bangla bat first and scores For=500/50.0 Against =60/50.0
Final Bangla stat For=804/144.5=5.6 Against =562/146.0=3.85 NRR=1.72
If Bangla bat second and score For=10/1 against=10/50
Final Bangla stat 314/95.5= 3.3 512/146=3.51 NRR=-0.21
India Current stat For=604/100.0=6.0 Against =347/98.5=3.52 NRR=2.52
If India scores For=200/50 Against =199/50
Final India stat For=804/150=5.4 Against =546/148.5=3.68 NRR=1.68
So if india wins with any margin.. It is definately impossible for Ban to cross NRR, if they bat sencond and virtually impsossible (margin should be more than 430) if they bat first

That is IF India wins against Sri Lanka. And that's a big IF
I am very sure India_SL match will be fixed to allow a smooth passage for India. Cause' if India goes out the world cup (commercial Interest) will be doomed!! Anyway it is time Cricket lovers move their allegiance to other sports such as Hockey, Soccer etc. Cricket/Cricketeers have become a gang of mafias. Amen!

I think you should quit playing cricket if you have to even fix matches against Bermudas...

Match fixing if it happens deserves taahit e hind faasi ki saza for all..(i vaguely remember that's the line they use in the movies..). What was the code no??
I have calculated all the net runrate and have concluded that india just need to win the match against Srilanka and they are in the super 8. even if india wins on last ball... the net runrate will be 1.68 so there is no chance at all for bangladesh to overcome this runrate.

India will beat SL on friday. Jaisurya will not play because of injury, I won't be shocked if vaas or mularali pulls out. There will immense pressure on SL to underperform. ICC and advertisers will be in serious trouble and eventually the market forces will ensure that india will win.

Thats what shud not happen. Due to money power India will happen it shud never happen. Let Bangladesh wins and moves with SL. It shud be lesson for these Indian team there is no way they shud win.

Commercial adds are must and india will definitely win over srilanka. ICC is fooling the poor people to make the money out of cricket.
