every dog has its day
by Satish on Feb 26, 2007 07:58 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

This is Vengsarkar's day. So, he can talk any crap, he can favor anyone and will get away with it. He included three useless players in the team, Sehwag, Tendulkar, and Pathan. Fellow citizens we need to make people like Vengsarkar answerable to us. This is a democratic society and a single individual like Vengsarkar cannot take us for a ride for ever.

Answerable to an idiot like you? Someone who played 116 tests for India with distinction and who runs a successful crciket academy in Mumbai, should be answerable to a third rate filthbag like you?
Seriously, grow up, this message makes me wonder whetehr you have just escaped from a lunatic asylum and dropped into a cybercafe nearby!!
Cos only a person who has lost his sanity can call Tendulkar useless!
And Mr Dilip Vengsarkar does not need to be answerable even to Greg chappell, what about a non-entity like you!

As long as jokers like you exist, who do not know your rights and who want others to boss you around, nobody can take our country out of this pathetic state to field in any competition looking for success.

Shame on you for not knowing your rights and shame on you for not thinking in terms of Indian success than Vengsarkar's success. If Mahatma Gandhi cared for people like you, he wouldn't have gotten us freedom. Think in terms of an Indian win friend than a few individuals who loot our country because people like you volunteer for an outright loot.

What a stupid and pathetic reply! Your doubts would have been valid had the BCCI been accused of downright malpractices like mismanagement of funds, nepotism, regionalism, misappropriation of funds, window dressing of annual accounts etc. The dalmiya controversy was very well handles and the servieces of the man have been dispensed off!
Selectorial decisions, as i see them, are more or less fair. If you are trying to convey the message that the best 15 are not representing the country and a blatant attempt has been made to push certain favourites, then come out with concrete evidence and facts to prove your insinuation. Making vague, crappy, cynical statements shows your own frustration in life, it is clear that your statements show that your sense of self worth is very low!
Under the circumstances, the appointment of Dilip Vengsarkar is probably the best one. Has been running a successful academy in Mumbai for more than 10 years, has groomed many youngsters and has a reputation for being strict, fair and impartial. His appointment has been done by an expert committee so it is best to trust it and get a move on.
If the BCCI and the selection policies were really unprofessional, then India would hav ebeen bottom of the heap! that is not the case at all, Indian cricket might not be top of the heap, but we are certainly a very good team.
About my rights, well i'am very aware of them, but i will certainly not be stupid enough to assume that i have right to know how a body like the BCCI is working!
The IITs also function on taxpayers money, do you think you have the righ tto know how an IIT is run? This smacks of gullibility and naivete of the worst kind!
Next time grow up a little bit and do not let frustrations in your private life spill on to this forum!!

I am growing up and that is the reason I am still thinking as per my growth. Looks like you have outgrown your thinking and hence incapable of thinking. Since you have clearly outgrown the capacity to think, it is not worth discussing anything with you.

My dear friend, if we do not constantly question ourselves, the best in us cannot be brought out. If we don't critic our bad decisions we can never come up with a right decision. We can hit success only if we keep correcting and fine tuning ourselves. The difference between you and me is; I want to work for an Indian success whereas you have taken for granted Indian success. If you want to work for an Indian success, there is no merit in picking players who are past their peak or currently out of form.

Looking at your responses, it is clear that you stopped growing by the time you turned a 10 year old cos only a ten year old will make some statements that you have made in this forum!

Sample some of the statements :
a) Making Vengsqarkar answerable to the common public! On what basis, what is the logical explanation? nothing, no explnation , just stupid juvenile comments!
b) Sehwag and Tendulkar are useless, this is the dumbest statement that does not befit even a schoolkid!

For your kind information, the BCCI charter gives it complete autonomy in its working, it is not a government body in its typical sense. The bulk of its revenues coms from sales of tickets and sponsorship rights sales! How does the common man come into all this??
Now you know who has stopped thinking and who lacks in the upstairs?
There are some people in this forum who can't write two words of English together without a big strugle, some crap coming from such people can be understood.
Looking at your English, it seems you have a decent background, all the more shame that you are so illiterate in your comments.
Atleast read the BCCI charter on Wikipedia before you shoot off your mouth and make an absolute fool of yourself!
And yes, when i said that you shuld grow up, i mean to say that you need to grow up and think like an adult rather then be caught in some time warp by which you think like a schoolkid.....I hope i'am not insulting schoolkids!!!!
