It was the central BJP government which approved the Hogganekkal project in 1998. Yediyurappa was the first to protest the project by visting the site in person. He wouldn't have done this without the Central BJP's knowledge. It is the same opportunism as compared to other parties. It hasn't come out just because they haven't ruled the state yet. After five years we will have lots to complain about BJP, especially after the short-lived karnataka's BJP government approving 14 major projects in just a week.

I don't know the details, but I definitely agree with your take on BJP at macro level. They are similar to Congress. Take for example Kargil Episode (we lost 1500 soldiers) and Kandahar. But my question is what alternate do one have. The answer here is to provide life long support to RSS, followed by VHP. I know some people have some complain against VHP. But together we can strengthen RSS and VHP further by adding to their good work/thoughts, and try correct where we think they are lacking.

First ask your RSS & VHP to treat all Indians, minorities, sikhs and dalits alike & then we'll see.

It appears you don't know anything about RSS and its' ideaology. Basically RSS is meant to unite the disintegrated Hinduism which was divided into thousands of castes. If RSS is against Sikhs and Dalits, how Akalidal has won in Punjab and it is a known fact that without a fraction of dalit votes BJP cannot win good number of seats. In every party people ask about the caste of their fellow party workers but not in RSS. You may not agree with me. It doesnot matter and change my views since I am a Swayamsevak and participated in number of meetings, etc. and seen and met number of state and national leaders of RSS.

I might agree with Siva as I do not know the facts, and I appreciate mahendra sapa because he has been diplomatic, but I was wondering what This tamil Arasan has to say, such a stupid and silly posting from abnoxious weed.

Dont copy words from Mathew hayden...!! (Considered as an arrogant idiot by Australian media during the last series against india) VHP or RSS keep separating the country by using emotional issues..and BJP a political face of these groups. If they can work with non-communal agenda, today we would had BJP as a best party in India. However, this is an opportunity for BJP to come with an excellant plan in Karnataka for changing this opinion and become a best party.

Ask the same of other parties as well. why only target RSS & VHP. Ask the same of IUML and TMMK and other minority organisations.
