So finally the mask comes off !!!

Colonel, in the first part of your enlightening article you were giving us some highfalutin talk with history and analysis of rebellious / secessionist movements in India. You dissected the problems of Punjab and Assam most admirably. But it's only now, with the second installment of your wisdom, that we can see what your true aims were. What manner of imbeciles do you take us for?
"Marathas, it should not be forgotten, had fought at Panipat (a thousand miles away from home) against the Afghans to save India."
What India? Whose India? They fought for their rule over the kingdoms of your mythical India, my friend... it had nothing to do with the Indian people as a whole or India as a united nation. It's just as well that they lost, both to the Afghans and the British, else perhaps today you would be living in a medieval KINGDOM in the 21st century, rather than the biggest democracy in the world that India has become.
What kind of preposterous army appointed you Colonel? Nice of you to take off your mask of wisdom and show your true face to us all. Have a nice millenium.

I find it even more sad that such people are still living in India who think they know history but don't have a clue what actually happened. Where did Marathas say they are fighting for "India" or even for "Hindus"? Can you point out any script written by any king of that time in which India has been mentioned as a united nation? Your favourite Marathas fought for maharashtra, not for Bharat. No kingdom in the history of India did anything for the complete India that exists today. People like you are continuing that legacy by distorting history. You are living in a dream world; unfortunately when you wake up you will find yourself in a real nightmare, when civil war rages in our unfortunate country. (I pray to God that people like you open their eyes before such a thing happens.)
