Colonel, in the first part of your enlightening article you were giving us some highfalutin talk with history and analysis of rebellious / secessionist movements in India. You dissected the problems of Punjab and Assam most admirably. But it's only now, with the second installment of your wisdom, that we can see what your true aims were. What manner of imbeciles do you take us for? "Marathas, it should not be forgotten, had fought at Panipat (a thousand miles away from home) against the Afghans to save India." What India? Whose India? They fought for their rule over the kingdoms of your mythical India, my friend... it had nothing to do with the Indian people as a whole or India as a united nation. It's just as well that they lost, both to the Afghans and the British, else perhaps today you would be living in a medieval KINGDOM in the 21st century, rather than the biggest democracy in the world that India has become. What kind of preposterous army appointed you Colonel? Nice of you to take off your mask of wisdom and show your true face to us all. Have a nice millenium.
