Pakistan: PML(N), PPP clinch deal
by Nirpinder Singh on Mar 09, 2008 07:51 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

It is to be noted that the Destinies and also the fate of the political parties of the nations in South East Asia seem to be interlinked. In India Smt. Indira Gandhi became hugely unpopular and lost the popular mandate only to regain it and then become unpopular again. Just when she seemed to be on her way out of Government for a second time she was assasinated thus breathing new life into her party. Her children are now on the road to dynastic monoply of her party. Likewise in Pakistan Benazir Bhutto had been Prime Minister and became unpopular. She too was trying to revive her political fortunes and was assasinated resulting in her party winning a good number of seats. Her children are now set to take over her party. The same story can be found to be repeated in various permutations in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka not to mention other Nations of this region. It seems that all of these young democracies have not yet learnt to deal with Freedom very well.

Actually people all over the world love to fantacise a King or a Queen as head of the state.
This deep rooted fantasy will remein there for another couple of century untill and unless the conception of a single governing body for the entire planet prevails.

funny u should call Pakistan a hell hole, I think its still beter than India where 25% of the population sleeps in cement and Swere pipes? its still better than India where 45% of teh country has no government writ over it, compared to just the tribal belt ( less than 190 Square miles of territory) is free of government control. I still think its better than India where per capita owner ship of vehicles, computers and internet use is better than India? any dispute?

25% live in Cement pipes / Sewage pipes .... But they fell safe and secure compared to 100% in Pakistan are not sure of the next day

it is only 45% as you claim that Govt has no control.... in Pakinstam no goverment at all....

India earns its own ..... do not beg from USA.. and the infrastructure is more than sufficient...

HENCE Mr.YM, I feel, we should leave all these things behind and look forward to a progressive amd productive blogs...
Let us understand one thing... as an individual you and me cannot change this country/world... hence is this chain of blog..

Insah allah... lets look for a peaceful world to come
