I think this kind of article will have a little impact on the people. It does not lead us to the solution; it only explains the problems better. While that is good, it is also required to have some articles which should show us some light.
I think the print media has a huge role to play at this point. So far they have been just a spectator, only commenting here and there. They have to take a bold stand and express their opinion of what is good or what is bad. Be it in favor of the deal, or against the deal, they should come out clean to the public about their standing. After all, nothing more than the print media can influence the people of a country. In the context of the nuclear deal, the print media has failed to perform its duty.

Nobody has descended straight from heavens to "show light". These are human issues, and the elected leaders are humans too, they have no magic bullets. People who elect these often incompetent maggots, are also humans. You can look at the situation and come up with a solution. If we look around for others to show light and solve our problems, we might as well ask the British to come back and rule India, problem solved.

media's job is not to show solution always, I giuess media should be neutral and let the news come from source to mass, and that's what happening here , I am rather glad rediff is writing except cheap report ,anyway people have some power too, they vote and judge, and they better wake up.

Mr.Sudeep, How can one say whether the deal is good or bad? MMS keeps the details confidential.!! There lot of objectionable points in the 123 agreement and the Hyde act. It had been debated in many columns in the various media. What about the 'draft of IAEA agreement'? Reading the first two we can anticipate that there is something 'objectionable' in the IAEA-draft. MMS if he wants to prove his own words let him allow the Parliament to debate the draft. (He declared that his govt is all for consensus.) The congress had declared several times that this is not an 'one point' govt. Let them keep 'one oint' N-deal under suspended animation. There are so many other problems to handle for the nation. For the poor millions!!
