SikhPride??

First feel ashamed as hell at how MMS a sikh, is serving an Italian lady like a "made-servant"!

And then consider this:

Just a couple of days back, some members of the great Sikh community went on a rampage in MTV offices in Mumbai over the outrageous posters offending the Sikh community!

I wonder how a proud community like this is able to stomach this ongoing, daily humiliation of a Sikh man at the feet of an Italian lady?

I guess, among many other things and their bearings, the Sikhs have got their priorities all mixed up!

What a shame!!

well my friend thanks for for showing your concern for sikhs community, for sikhs know their priorities that no one needs to remind them, it is these petty polticians who are messing up the things, for the sikhs they have always stood up for this nation and defended it( history is the proof). But unfortunatly they always have been back stabbed by these bloody congress walas, who has done more harm to this nation than any body else.
come next general elections we all should give them a mother of all boots and save india from further mess by these congress walas.

I don't think Mr Manmohan Singh is serving the Italian lady. She is the chairman of the congress party and is responsible for holding the party together and takes important decisions for the future of the party. She has been democratically elected as their Chairman of the party.

Keeping her nationality, character, everything else aside; Ms Sonia Gandhi is not so qualified to tell Mr Manmohan Singh on what to do being a PM. Being the Chairman of the Congress party, she would be lobbying for the party interest while Mr Manmohan Singh takes decisions. The main reason for him being chosen as the Prime Minister is because of the unabated respect he carries within the party and across the nation. The selection of Mr Chidambaram as the Finance Minister is the role played by Mr Manmohan Singh himself.

All in all, Mr Manmohan Singh has a job to do and is doing that. Sonia Gandhi's keen interest is making sure the party is reelected and lasts the full term. Both of them are playing their part in this huge crutial decision for the nation.

I pretty well know that Nuclear deal is for the good of the nation and it has to be done ASAP. But B*tching about that would do any good. We being the citizens of this democratic country have a critical role to play. We pretty well know what is good for us and our country and thus can make our decision exercised when the next poll comes. If you want to teach a lesson, tech when you get the power coming season of elections.

well , has MMs approached BJP in a constructive way. Never. Has he intended to take the opposition into confidence , NO..Has Manu ever briefed the leader of opposition on N-deal--NO.. Then how BJP will support.

Has he convened an all-party meeting on such a isse of national importance..I dont know.

Definitely cong has never acted democratically on N-deal. They wanted to hijack all credits, but thanks to commies, they prod u to think why, whats in the deal?

Let hope we are well informed abt the deal by the govt..

there have been several meeting with BJP leadership on the nuclear issue ... even US delegations have met Advani and other BJP leaders on the nuclear deal ... so, it is wrong to say that they haven't been approached in a constructive way .... no, don't expect sonia and Manmohan singh to fall to advani's feet and beg him to save the country ...

I think BJP is playing partisan politics with the nuclear deal, but in their own self interest, they must ... afterall what is more important to advani? chance to be the next PM or India having a nuclear programme.

Right now BJP is focussed on the Lok sabha elections and current political and economic situation favors them over the incumbent.

guys dont get freak out, there has nothing been done by cong to get a consensus. All always read that cong fighting with commies to get the bill passed..i am not sure when there are several meetings of cong with bjp leadership...

In this issue Bjp is not in the picture, let alone play partisan politics. I think its cong who is trying to corner bjp and therefore desperately seeking commies support.

In democracy, its not necessary that MMS fall at the feet on advani, but they should take all into confidence.. Completly aware the general public about the deal. They shd not shy away, for the greater interest on the nation.

the commies! you don't get the news do you? I mean this whole thing has been going on for so long now that one would imagine that you are understanding what's going on.

If MMS signs the deal, the commies could withdraw support and the govt. would come down crashing.

simple ... but not simple enough for you! LOL

That's precisely what you'll get when you install a dummy PM, who has no say in party matters.

He has to "request" the Party President ( :-) :-) to please somehow convince his party members that he is a good guy...
:-)

But you are fine.... go on an curse the BJP.. you're doing just fine... and that's about all you can do... :-)

dummy PM, I agree, but that wans't an easy choice when you have to run a coalition. you cannot just make anyone the PM, that person has to be acceptable to the coalition.

with whatever coalition congress party has, from parties that opposed them right before the election, I think Manmohan Singh has done a great job.

There is no reason to bring in sikh sentiment or foreign national status or hindu muslim riots or whatever else into this. The topic is this: NUCLEAR DEAL WITH THE US... yes/no?

"All Right", please answer whether you want India to sign the deal or not... IF yes, please voice your opinion why. If no, please do the same.

Why do we need it? Becuase we need to build as many nuclear reactors to generate as much energy as possible to support our country and we need to also find ways to dispose off the nuclear waste without running into major mishaps that other countries have faced (3 mile/chernobyl)... perhaps we are smarter than them to avoid such incidents but what is wrong in collaborating, even co-operating to avert such dangers, to learn from the knowledge of their experience... to perhaps even teach them some... ;)

Why dont we need it? Becuase it caps our military nuclear program and opens up our capacity and capability to the world. Nobody knows today where we stand... All they have is an estimate. Once you let people in, they will know!

What I think, the UPA is saying is that they trust the scientists and they think that India has done a GREAT job in getting to where we are and that our military technology will suffice for the need of deterrance. Whether that is true or not is debatable but we need the energy and no country as advanced as the US is stupid enough to start a nuclear war and we may just have enough to deter that as well. So we should sign the deal

what do you wanna show the external world? that the PM is from a party which has only 150/542 LS seats ... when you have less than a third LS seats, is it any wonder that the govt. is functioning?

why didn't BJP form a coalition with 130 seats? because they knew that it would be impossible to run a govt. ... then what was the other choice ... another round of election.

you talk as if you are not familiar with the political situation in India!
