TRACING THE CARS

Is it very difficult to trace a car with the help of its Chassis Number?

When they disfigure the chassis and engine number how can u trace the car?

Arey Haan, You are absolutely right.
Whenever vehicle registration is done in RTO, the Chassis Number & the Engine Number is registered, and then the Number Plate number by RTO is given.
The RTO has all the data, only you have to dig it up from their files. Why Police is fooling around & misleading he Indians, to say that nothing can be done.
Government seems to be having No Value for the precious mankind, and equally shameful towards the dead Indians.

RTO workers are govt workers and they dont want to search registration numbers with the help of Chessis number!If you can provide them direct vehichle no they can work to get you name of owner!That is best they can do!Understand!

probably the same car was lost by the owner few months back and now is back with a new no.
