I think solutions to India's frequent communal conflicts are 1: Let Indians abandon religion - religion has only caused harm and never any good 2: Let all Indians embrace Christianity or Islam. I do not think it makes any sense to include Hinduism as a religion because of diverse beliefs and customs than any other major religions. Hinduism is bunch of customs without any unified theology.

Guest, how much do you know Hinduism? All the problems of this world have been caused by Islam and Christianity. The Christian dominated countries US and UK have been supplying ammunition to Islam dominated countries like Pakistan. These two communitites have created havoc in the world.
Moreover, islam and christianity do not provide any solutions to the four basic probles of life - birth, death, old age and disease. Only our vedic scriptures give the information as to how to get rid of the repeated cycle of death.. they mention that this material world is dukhalayam (full of miseries) and ashashvatam (temporary), and provide us a process to stop repeated birth in this dukhalayam-ashshvatam. If you take to any other religion, you can never escape from these worldly miseries bcoz other sectarian religions have no solution to these problems. Ofcourse 90% hindus dont know the real knowledge contained in these scriptures. But the scriptures are perfect. Bhagvatam clearly mentions that in kaliyuga, mercy, goodness and dharma will completely vanish. People will kill each other. Life span of ppl will get shortened. We can see how true all these things are proving out. If you follow spiritual instructions given in our scriptures seriously, you may get liberated... otherwise you may very well convert to some other religion.. and then there is no escape for you from this material world..

Well, I have gone through various scriptures of different religions, and almost everyone makes assumptions without any general merit. For e.g Hinduism concept of rebirth does not have any rational merit. It is imprudish to jump to conclusions saying only Hinduism provides a path to liberation and rest are damned like the Christian concept of beleif in Christ is the only route to salvation. The reason I recommned Hinduism is not proper religion for India is it never was an unifying force, atleast may be Christianity and Islam might. I do not endorse these religions either as these religions too have many flaws only atleast there is some common thread among those who beleive in these religions. Who is an Hindu is one of the tough questions to answer. A person could be Hindu even if he not believe in vedas or any major scripture. Who is there to say certain such people are Hindus because they follow certain things. All Indians are Hindus ... only thing non muslims and non christians are ones without any religion.
