There is a flawed interpretation of things. Basically, if you think, TV Channel, multi-speciality hospital, educational institutions are sole property of capitalism and only cow and sheep belong to communism, then it is a tinted perception. You got to get your basics right. They have legal institutions, where ordinary people are the share holders. In fact, Kairali TV- one of the directors is Mammooty. They involve people from all walks of life. That is really a good model to practice.

If you expect all the generations of communist leaders have to be beggers... then I am sorry. As soon as a guy attains 18, the father has legally no say. So he can marry as he wish. There is no problem if a person marry lavishly with legal money, what is the thinly veiled jealousy you people have..

If your leaders own Kith and Kin don't believe in their ideology, but expect others to believe in that. What a tragedy.

More revelations about Kerala CPM through Google. CPM is the proud owner of a modern water theme park in its bastion in north Kerala. Its a 25-acre hilly terrain located 15 km from the town at Parassinikadavu. The park will boast of 14 water rides, 12 dry items, children’s play area, a 35-ft high artificial waterfall, open air theatre and a music fountain among other things.

Actually, Kerala cannot be considered as a communist state at all. My expereience is, that the state is prosperous because of its high literacy rate, women contributing to the economy in terms of secondary income (in some cases the major income!) and a lot of private enterprise by small traders and entrepreneurs - something you do not see in a typical commie state! The reds loose power if they do not perform and vice-versa, unlike the stranglehold the red parties have over the administration in W Bengal, which under communist rule had slipped down in agricultural, industrial and economic reforms, thereby further increasing the stronghold on the poor and the unemployed both in the rural as well as the industrial sector.
Once the commies are thrown out of WBengal, (which I doubt because the Bongs only talk lots instead of actually delivering) Bengal will show a lot more progress.
Even the chinese govt is one of the biggest capitalist in the world and the russians have also thrown out the commies in the Baltic sea!!
See the difference in progress between North (Red) Korea and South (Daewoo, Samsung, etc..) and you realise the futility of Communism!

Actually I have no problem with communists entering capitalistic markets. Perhaps, other political parties should follow their example. There can be no better way to make money to fight elections and propagate party messages. For once I like Karat style communism
