RE:commie capitalism
by rajesh prajapati on Jul 25, 2008 07:32 PM

Actually, Kerala cannot be considered as a communist state at all. My expereience is, that the state is prosperous because of its high literacy rate, women contributing to the economy in terms of secondary income (in some cases the major income!) and a lot of private enterprise by small traders and entrepreneurs - something you do not see in a typical commie state! The reds loose power if they do not perform and vice-versa, unlike the stranglehold the red parties have over the administration in W Bengal, which under communist rule had slipped down in agricultural, industrial and economic reforms, thereby further increasing the stronghold on the poor and the unemployed both in the rural as well as the industrial sector.
Once the commies are thrown out of WBengal, (which I doubt because the Bongs only talk lots instead of actually delivering) Bengal will show a lot more progress.
Even the chinese govt is one of the biggest capitalist in the world and the russians have also thrown out the commies in the Baltic sea!!
See the difference in progress between North (Red) Korea and South (Daewoo, Samsung, etc..) and you realise the futility of Communism!
