Its too fashionable to blame muslims !!
by Rehaan on Jul 26, 2008 04:17 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

If you see the trend in India and abroad about any terror, before any investigation even begins the suspects are named, without any substantiation.

1. In India blasts have happened in mandirs, masjid, eid-gahs, dargaahs, market places, etc.
2. Terror acts have happened in Congress, BJP, other parties ruled states.

Can we have the stock on the last 3 years of blasts and the suspects questioned. None have been found guilty.

There is always a huge publicity in the following days of the blasts that link them to HuJI, SIMI, al-Qaeda, LeT, ABCD, XYZ...But how many leaders of these so called organisations have been arrested and convicted. Its generally easy to round-up petty criminals and very difficult to accept that they were not connected and wrongly questioned.

My conclusion is;
1. The more un-substantiated blame is put on muslims, the more alienation would take place.
2. Police, investigation agencies have an easy accusation to make and get away with their lacklusture work.
3. Politics of blame always color the incident as communal.
4. How come for blasts in masjids, dargaah, eidgahs, muslims are blamed. Moreover when mandirs are attacked, logical blame goes to muslims. Its so funny.

I dont know about the other blasts but the blasts that took place in Hyderabad masjid was by a muslim for political gain, dont pose innocent questions. Know your comunity my brother!!! The muslims in the Old city of Hyderabad celebrate on the Pakistani victory against India. I have seen them celebrating with fire crackers. So dont say the Muslims are innocent.I will accept if you say they are ignorant about the developments in the world. I have yet to see a muslim become a fan of some other actor instead of a Khan. I too am awaiting for the wisdom amongst my brothers. May god shower his extra grace upon them.

Sorry to digress my friend but in response to Muslims being fans of only Khans - let me tell you in early 1980's in Kashmir - Men, women , children - all prayed for the well being of Mr Amitabh Bachchan - during the unfortunate Coolie mishap. I know it, my sister knows it - because we were in Kashmir around that time. Up until 1989 - when the cinemas were closed down by terrorists - Mr Bachachan was the number one star in this muslim majority state, then came Dharmendra, Shatru and Jeetu - older generation loved Dilip saab - but who doesn't.

We blame muslims only becoz of ur votebank, laws like pota are repealed. You know very well hatred is primarily becoz hindus are treated as second-class citizens. One mosque is destroyed, the entire political party fights it. Even I condemn. But, at the same time, Govt. is hell bent upon demolishing hindu symbols. Govt make blasphemous comments while kicking out some author who makes some stupid comments about muslims. We all know it is only becoz of this reason, the hatred grows.

All that it takes for the hatred to go away is one protest march by muslims supporting stricter terrorist laws. Until then, dont make bullshit argument about generalization etc. ... Why can't u make just one support march ???

Unfortunately muslims do nnot have the backing of strong media house in India.

Their sentments are always exploited.

1. Lot of news were in circulation that N-deal is against muslim sentiments. Which muslim leader of significance mentioned this and why?

Mayawati wanted to milk this controversy to gain some points against Mulayam. Now Mulayam had joined UPA. So Maywati targetted the muslim vote-bank of Mulayam.

Its so disgusting.
When our country will rise above this petty blame game that is spoiling the UNITY FABIC of our country.
