Its too fashionable to blame muslims !!
by Rehaan on Jul 26, 2008 04:17 AM

If you see the trend in India and abroad about any terror, before any investigation even begins the suspects are named, without any substantiation.

1. In India blasts have happened in mandirs, masjid, eid-gahs, dargaahs, market places, etc.
2. Terror acts have happened in Congress, BJP, other parties ruled states.

Can we have the stock on the last 3 years of blasts and the suspects questioned. None have been found guilty.

There is always a huge publicity in the following days of the blasts that link them to HuJI, SIMI, al-Qaeda, LeT, ABCD, XYZ...But how many leaders of these so called organisations have been arrested and convicted. Its generally easy to round-up petty criminals and very difficult to accept that they were not connected and wrongly questioned.

My conclusion is;
1. The more un-substantiated blame is put on muslims, the more alienation would take place.
2. Police, investigation agencies have an easy accusation to make and get away with their lacklusture work.
3. Politics of blame always color the incident as communal.
4. How come for blasts in masjids, dargaah, eidgahs, muslims are blamed. Moreover when mandirs are attacked, logical blame goes to muslims. Its so funny.
