Trust Vote Win - Manmohan Singh stand vindicated

What a transformation for Dr.Manmohan Singh from a techocrat politician to politicians' politician. He was beaming and flashing vicotry sign before entering the Parliament House. As the session by session progresses, his chance of winning the motion became brighter. Advani and company were dwarfed speaker after speaker. It was first Pranab Mukherjee who blasted Advani, followed by Sharma and Praful Patel. Opposition was no match to the well prepared UPA members. That was on 21st. But on 22nd it was the turn of lawyer-politician P.Chidambaram to lambast the opposition with his characteristic remarks and his listing out the achievement made the opposition dumb and silent. Rahul chipped in but it was Lalu who stole the thunder. The icing on the cake came from two youngesters, first Owaisis of MIM and then Omar Abdullah of NC. Owasis' powerpacked punches of dragging the Muslims into the deal and Left failure to grant any assistance to the 29% Muslims of West Bengal exposed the Left to hilt. Then came the short but sweet powerful speech of Abdullah. He was an Indian and Muslim and saw no difference between the two to the thunderous applause from one and all in the House. He assured that no yatri to Amarnath would be hurt as long as Kashmiri Muslims are there. He would not forgive himself for not resigning during NDA rule when Gujarat was burning and Muslims were killed. He was sorry to have supported the NDA. He chided the Left for joining hands with BJP to topple the secular Govt.

Congratulations to the person who said "Minorities, particularly the Muslims, have first right over the national resources" ... this, along with Amarnath, is a great win for minorities in 'secular' India!

What r u saying great speach of Advani? Advani has lost his memory due to his age and frusteration of defeat. He said that "Nehru was ready to sign on NPT" where NPT came in 70s and Nehru died in 64. He said " I was not aware of releasing of terrorists during Kandhar plane hijack where as a member of BJP accepted that Advani was present in meeting when decision was taken to release the terrorist and Advani was Home Minister of India.

Omar Abdullah may claim himself to be an Indian but he is Kashmiri first. Will allow for Hindus to be settled in Kashmir like China have done in Tibet?

Omar Abdulla was genuinely nationalist in his speech. But Owaisi seemed to imply that moslems are entitled to appeasement in all ways, at the expense of hindus. A bit of aurangazeb in him.

It was also reported that MIM was given big money for his support. I would say that MMS saved the govt for india from churchian and islamic forces, just as guru govind singh saved hindu india from the aurangazeb type moghuls, 3 centuries ago.

We all saw the money floating in the parliament, my dear friend... And you say that Dr. Singh stands vindicated... His joining hand with the most corrupt Amar Singh shows how honourable he has become.. Even though Dr. Singh was always covered by Corrupt family and its self-centric politics(they assume that India is their kingdom),I always respected Dr. Singh --- but now after seeing all this , my respect to Dr. Singh is gone in thin air.. I lost faith in Indian Cricket after seeing those fixed matches.. and now the worst reality that the open bribery drives our parliament.. May God come to our rescue... We need new avatar of Parashuram or Lord Krishna to clean these evils.

Will Amar Singh answer he has gone to that position and amassed a huge wealth from his earliest position when he was a income tax book keeping clerk in Burrabazar in Calcutta?
