Neerja Chowdhury has certainly presented her view points about Somnath Chatterji as Speaker in the right perspective. However,is Somnath Chatterji right in making the statement that he does not want to appear to be voting with the BJP, a communal party. In other words, does he mean to say that if there was no BJP in the picture, he would have resigned as Speaker and voted with his party against the UPA government? That is the million dollar question. Obviously, it means that his assertion of Speaker being neutral is secondary to his disinclination to vote with BJP. Going by this interpretation, it proves that Somnath Chatterji is a humbug, resting on his laurels as an outstanding Parliamentarian of 40 years standing. There is also one more point I would like to emphasise. By saying that BJP is communal and he would not want to be seen to be voting with them, he has proved his bias beyond doubt and to say he was neutral as a Speaker or will be neutral in future, including in the Trust Vote, is questionable. It will be honourable for him to resign both as Speaker and as a MP so that he will not be present in the Parliament during the Trust Vote. I, as a supporter of BJP, strongly object to his statement, as it insults me as a voter. Remember, crores of Indians who vote for BJP are not communal. If they are communal, just imagine what will happen to the fabric of our society. Stop insulting us, you dirty politicians!

Hi guys,
Don't trust this cheat Vasudevan.
For those who are around these forums knows very well that Vasudevan is a cold blooded Communist. He could not digest the fact that there is a healthy revolt within his party.
To cover that embarassment, he is now trying to pose as BJP man and blaming Speaker.
Vasu, atleast change ur name before posting contradictory comments.
Ofcourse, we all know that like other commies,u too sold ur brain and heart to China, our biggest enemy.

Mr.Entomologist (or whatever and whoever you are): Do you mean to say there is only one `Vasudevan' in this country? Come on grow up man. To me, to be called a `communist' is blashphemous. I may even tolerate the Congress, though headed by an Italian house-wife, but never the Communists, who are out to destroy not only this country but the whole world. I may be a `Vasudevan' but not the `Vasudevan' you are referring to!!!
