What about Risk, Safety & Security?
by Ajay Gogate on Jul 17, 2008 05:11 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

When we were not having fuel, why those many atomic centers were started? Why we are finding fuel shortage now?

Is this related with expansion plan? NO. US is talking about control over 70% of existing atomic centers.

Private companies are planning to enter in Nuclear power generation? What about security? What about company take over by terrorist (through third party)?

What is a manufacturing cost?

How we going to manage a risk? United carbon has not yet reimbursed the money to poor people/India.

No clarity, no transparency from government, just because Sonia / Italy want it.

You are confused man! There is not sufficient high grade coke available in the country for our steel plants, but still we are going to build new steel plants. What we do for good quality coke. We import from Australia. We buy coal mines in other countries. As far as cost is concerned, if you critically need some thing you do not and can not afford to worry about its cost. And do not be a moron about security. No doubt it is a worry, but our security agencies will take care of it. No country is 100% secure, not even Peoples Republic of China. Try looking beyond your nose. There is more to country's politics and progress besides Italy and its daughter. Just think, if you are offered a plush job in Italy, would you not grab the opportunity with both hands, forgetting about the famouns italian mafia.

Just reading what you have written makes me say you are the one that's mixed up.
What's wrong with multinationals? Tata is a multinational - it's bought Land-Rover, Jaguar, Tetley etc, so is Tata suddenly an evil multinational? Many other Indian companies are spreading globally, so are they also evil MNCs?
