Left isolation
by ramani v on Jul 09, 2008 01:14 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The left has too long enjoyed unbridled power with no accountability and responsiblity at the Central level. It does not matter even if the present UPA Govt is unable to mustur the majority to face the No confidence motion.

Manmohan Singh and his team have too long tolerated this nonsense from the left whose record of Governance in West Bengal is a testimony of their confused political thoughts. When China under the leadership Deng went into the path of inviting capitalist with both the hands to develop China, our own hollow mind leftist got bogged down with the dogma of medieval years. In the process China has overtaken most of the countries in the economic development. The reason is that the party there in China is single mindedlly pursuing development at all cost and no body can question anything the party high command decides. Here our leftist have got the choice of raising objection in a democratic process and yet does not take practical lesson from other parts of the world for constructive progress of the nation(may be their master in China have advised them so).

This time in the Lok subha election the left is sure to come back with only half the seats they now possess and their isolation will be total.

The Leftists are right, because by doing what they have been all these years, they want to help their boss China, and weaken India.

Left was never progressive.
Political idealogies can not make a country rich.
It is the economic policies that would make the country rich or poor.
Left opposed computarisation and even BJP leaders laughed at Rajiv Gandhi's efforts of large scale computarisation and his penchant to acquire super computers.

Now what would the left say?

Computerisation did not diminish the opportunity for employment . It infact it increased the jobs and job market tremendously, and also it is earning foreign exchange.
Now the communists say that nuclear deal would make us slaves of USA. which is obviously wrong.
They are probably paid by their masters in China to oppose the deal with USA.

We do not have any other better alternative than nuclear energy which can be produced on massive scale to cater to the growing needs of electricity.

And USA controlling India by as simple nuclear deal is practically impossible.
Every country in the world knows that none can control or tame India to do their bidding.
We proved that during 1971 war by dividing the Pakistan in to two pieces.
Pak's friend USA could do nothing.
May be USSR is not there now, but we have become immensly strong with new technologies.

How is it possible for USA to control our weapon acquisition, our economic development, our foreign policy etc., through their nuclear deal?
Comminists are biding their political masters in China. It is not surprising.
