Now it is my turn to ask you to stop day dreaming.
There is no way the SP can split on this issue since one or two Muslim MPs in the party cannot split the party. They as yet dont have the numbers under the anti defection law to split the party .
If they remain they will be mandated by a party whip to vote for the Government .
Of course the SP will then die out . Sonia is merely using them save her government . Rahul will NOT have an alliance with the SP . Rahul may dine with Dalits but he will not sleep with the enemy.
SP will disintergrate once thier short honeymoon with the Congress is over ! Amar Singh who has a friend called Big B, can then have a boss called Big Z ( Big Zero)

Usamanata as a typical knickerwallah resorts to selective amnesia

Remember Jaya' cases where she used to blackmail poor Vajpayee. So she joined, left, rejoined, left again according to Vajpayee's willingness to fix her cases.

These things happen where the electorate do not give a mandate to a single party
