BJP

BJP had once upon a time, a leader named Atal Bihari Vajpai. He wanted to prove himself more secular and Mandalite than left and VP Singh respectively. He was willing to touch the feet of anyone who called him a secular person. That is why he declared unilateral ceasefire in Kashmir more than once, and released dreaded terrorists; just to bloster his personal secular image. Some people were fooled for some time, and decided to join the NDA experiment in the loot of the country. But after decline of Vajpai, even if BJP decide to forego Ram altogether, nobody is going to believe them, and they are not going to be a part of any front.
Besides, those who had been voting for BJP for its leaning towards the right, have also been disillusiioned, and are gradually deserting the party, and are shifting towards alternatives like the BSP.
Where does this leave BJP?

Boy, gaining in Gujarat and HP means nothing in the context of Centre.
Unless BJP regain U.P., all other gains would come to naught.
And they are not going to regain U.P.

In the winners seat. The difference in NDA's economic policies that India is reaping from and Congress-UPA's colossal failure on every front is there for even the blind to see. BJP released 4 militants to free 180 Indian calptives and NOT for seeking a secular image. What not voting for BJP did for the country? Unbarable price hike, more farmer suicides, absolute power failure, looting of agricultural lands for benefits of industrialists, total breakdown of India's image internationally vis a vis the nucelar deal, increase in terrorism due to UPA's muslim appeasement policies, more Hindu-muslim tensions as it's fallout, more Maoism, Naxalism, bomb blasts and more illegal Bangladeshis regularized, losing out on a good President like Kalam and complete ridicule of SC judgements in most cases, Overturning SC directives to hang terrorists, absolute breakdown of anti-terror policies from zero tolerance to zero policy, more taxes, more corruption, more reservations to further divide Hindus on caste lines, more assaults on Hindu identity, less development, more regionalism, abuse of constitution vis a vis Governors. Crap is this what we should vote for by not voting for BJP?

What is real pece, eh?
Let the terrorists do waht they want, and declare ceasefire at every opportunity?
Or keeping the army at battle alert for months, and retracting?
He might as well have dissolved the Army altogether for real peace.

So what do you suggest? Start a nuclear war? The army was at border to blackmail Pak and it worked didn't it? So why is Congress doing ceasefires with Naxals and Ulfa again and again? Why is not stopping the buses and trains to Pak and Bangla? Why is silent on nandigram? vajpayee gave peace a chance. But when it failed he had the guts to stop all diplomatic relations with Pak. He did not go around like MMS calling Pak a victim of terror and giving Mushraff clean chits.

BJP did not lick Gowda. His son came begging twice and for the interest of the tax payers they were given chances to save another expensive election that people didn't want. Gowda will be the ultimate loser. BJP had the balls to let the Govt fall and not let Jaya blackmail them. They did not compromise shamelessly to stay in power over their policies. What is UPA doing? Congress can't do anything without Left's permission. It has let Left,Laloo and DMK bully and blackmail them into submission just to stay in power at the expense of the people. Jaya invited Modi for lunch and BJP did not go seeking her. It is Jaya who is trying to mend fences and not BJP. BJP will win next elections and all you Congress dogs and hypocrites will pay for dividing Hindus and Muslims in this country. Go lick your wounds in Nandigram, Gujarat, Jharkhand and Nandigram. It is because of people like you, that terrorists and illegal Bangladeshis are breaking out country apart limb by limb.
