Those who are unhappy in Mumbai are welcome to migrate to Chennai with following conditions : 1) Biharies must not eat Chattu. 2) Punjabies must not make late night Bhangra 3) Gujraties must mix with local people 4) UP walas must not practice dirty politics 5) Bengalies must not do their Adda 6) Keralites must not talk about Gulf fortune 7) Kannadigan should come with their own water 8) Andhraits must not speak about Telugu pride 9) Goanese must wear dhoti, not half pants 10) Hariyanvis should speak softly 11) Himachalies must hide their skin colour 12) MP walas should live like local tribals 13) Assamies should not speak Hindi at all 14) Maharastrians must bow to Karunanidhi 15) All NE people shouldn't touch drugs 16) Andamanies must not do fishing business 17) Jharkhandies shouldn't behave like Dhoni 18) Rajasthanies must take regular bath 19) Uttaranchalies must not wear caps Above all, all migrants must declare that Idli-Bada is the best food in the world.

30% of Chennai is filled with Telugus now, and not long ago more than half filled with Telugus. We built the city from scratch but many of us were chucked out during state division. Moreover, Chennai is stone throw away from Andhra border. There are just too many Telugus in Tiruvallur district which Chennai is a part.

Agreed.. if you carefully observe there is Telagu and malayalee crowd but everyone speaks tamil.

chennai that stinking city.... first clean that drainage and improve infrastructure .HAve u ever travelled by city bus or took ride in metro train.That was most adventurous thing in my whole life.

Chennai is definitely a great city no doubts but only if you are a Tamilian !! The Language Chauvinism is of the higest order and if if you dont know tamil you will be treated like shit literally.

GSB you can speak in English. TN is the largest English speaking state in India. However, Chennai will love you more if can keep your mouth shut.
