what we can do?
by Hi, I am Ajay on Feb 28, 2008 03:01 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

well really it is very shamful but what we can do? nothing bcoz of old constitution. in elction everytime i have to think which one should i vote? bcoz all of them are corrupt, malafide, goons etc. and if u ask why don't a educated person comes and join election, the answer is without goons, mafia you would not be able to sustain in this dirt. our political system has become dirt and nobody can solve it. the only solution of this is to change the constitution bcoz it has expired or retired now. we are following the constitution which was written 60yrs ago and still we are following it. an average life of a person is 60 or a person retire at 60. now we need a new constitution in which only literate person having good qualification can fight in election or join any party. otherwise no solution is there in long term. well how many of u are agree with me , just respond

the only solution is change the people who represent us. Firstly, change ourselves. But, basically, when a person is elected to represent a constituency, that person must accept some self discipline and act responsibly. There is the story of Vikramaditya's throne. Any person who sat on it became wiser. That is allegorical reference to the principle that rulers must rule wisely. There is also the percept of Bhishma, that the king shapes the times, not that times dictate how kings must rule. But, we are ruled by intellectual midgets who trim their sails to the wind and prefer the path of least resistance rather than take the right stand on issues. One only hopes that in a generation or two wiser counsels will prevail over the political class.
