Where are the test results ??
by Senthil Saxena on Feb 26, 2008 05:19 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

When they say it is a full-fledged test of missile, where did it hit ? Is it really capable of hitting the target or just a diwali rocket ? Unless the missile hits the actual and the intended opponent for whose destruction it is being built, the scientists cannot claim the test is successful. It is just like a developer doing the user acceptance testing himself as per his convenience and claiming success. Moreover, how long testing phase will go on ? There should be production deployment, i mean to say test the missile on intended opponent which is obviously Pakistan. Then only claim the test result as success or failure.

Mr Senthil Saxena, Appreciate your critic. However, be informed that software development, I & VV are very different from the ballistic missile development and demonstration. The actual results may not be disclosed due to strategic reasons. Suffice to say that all your apprehensions would have been taken care of and the tax payers money would have been spent on just and tangible cause. Suggest restrict your critic to field you know better. Good Luck.

Well!no doubt that things could be stage managed as in the case of Kashmir. But should we not sound patriotic. In defense language these things are sufficient to send the chills down the spines of the opponent. Not all defense deployment hit the target 100%.There are misses..so let us encourage our defense research establishment to reach higher levels. If you have been to some of the establishments like CVRDE you will wonder how on earth these people ever get to do something useful. That is what I saw at chennai.Maybe not all divisions are as bad as chennai.

Dear Mr Saxena,it is better to keep quiet and let others think that you are a fool, rather than open your mouth at the wrong place and prove that you are one....

Dear Mr. Senthil Saxena (I found ure name amusing to say the least)...you really think that our scientists are jokers to claim the test sucessful just cause it came outta water and disappeared into the sky...gimme a break man...these tests are designed carefully and includes launch, flight path correction target acquisition and destruction. Only then is the test termed sucessful. Also, this was the first test of this missile after it was fully integrated...and the concerned ppl say that only one test is required...they may be able to validate further changes using computer simulation...and deployment of such missiles is a strategic decision left to the federal government...moreover we will need submarines which could launch such missiles against adversaries...hence I suggest that the next time you decide to exhibit your ignorance so blatantly, think twice...

Senthil, i think no one would like to criticize your criticism, but if why you are asking for stategic details? Which country in this world do that? I guess u will agree with me that this detail should be confined to ppl (scientists) who are involved into it.

Test Firing the Missile include lot of stages
1 stage- Lounch Vehicle ( in this require Submarine that we dont have right now )

2 stage - Ejacuation i.e. From launch vehicle

3 stage - Distance travel ( 700 Km )

4 stage - then Hiting target ( It is called Pin Point Accuracy)

These are few stage that I know I think there are many more stages in One Test fire of Missile
U have written about capacity of distruction I would like to remind u that this is NUKE WEAPON so they dont use real Nuke they calculate the impact ( their Data is very Accurate ).

Another thing is WE ARE NOT DEVELOPING WEAPON TO DESTROY ANY NATION WE ARE MAKE WEAPON BY USING OUR OWN BRAIN TO PROTECT OUR NATION.

NUKE WEAPON ARE THE THING THAT KEEP PEACE IN THE WORLD.

FOR EXAMPLE IRAN WANTS TO MAKE NUKE WEAPON BUT USA OPPOSING BIGGEST REASON IS IN FUTURE USA CANT ATTACK ON IRAN ON THE NAME OF TERRORISM LIKE AFGANISTAN OR LIKE IRAQ.

OTHER NATION ARE OPPOSING B'COZ IRAN CAN START WAR WITH HIS ENEMY AND END UP KILLING ITSELF AND OTHER NATIONS IN THE WORLD ( LACK OF MATURE IDEOLOGY OR THINKING )

ue narrow mind can only hit the copy, paste and delete buttons of keyboard. I think you read some bullsh*t articles in net and copy paste the questions. What the he*l are you going to do with details ? are you going to negotiate with US / UK for selling the missiles ?? shut your dangerous mouth. there are people to appreciate our defence research and we will stand behind our defence. Jaihind

Then there is no purpose in all the hardwork by the scientists. It is sheer waste of defence budget and time. If you say it is for India's safe-side in case of any adverse situation, then there is no guarantee that these missiles will save the people. Only have faith in God for safety.

Hi Senthil Saxena, you are behaving like an L1. The persons involved are scientists and people with far more knowledge than you and I. Not all information needs to be shared in these kind of blogs
