A man should not have more than one wife!!!Islam is still practicing this!!!Others (whatever the reason) have stopped it!!!This is a clear sexual exploitation on the weak and dominated female!!! Whay majority of muslim community is living in poverty and why they are undereducated mostly?????Will you accept that the Quran's pricipals are not implemented properly in all these 1600 years????Then how can you promise the present world about its values and visions??????

muslim are the most monogamous people on the earth. there are no mistress allowed in islam. when you have legal marriage women have the rights. in mistress you can have as many you want there are no rights for women. what kind of hypocracy is there in the west and now in india a man can have as many mistress he wants but when it comes to legal marriage that thing doesnot go down their throat....do you know the ratio of women to men is exceeding...so what about the women who donot find a partnes do you want them to becoming prostitutes. i ask you why will you do with those surplus women in the world. in india the ratio is low because female infanticide.....thousands of female are aborted if this evil practice is stop you will see the female ratio to men in india going up. for more

the othr day i saw a vid of a 8 yr old losing his hand for theft... do u call it peaceful? stonings, amputaions,beheadings..is that civilized? ...farid capital punishemnt has been around since time immemorial.. it has not failed to stop crime.. crime is not a factor of stringent punishment.. if that is so muslim countries with sharia would be crime free long ago

why do you say that polygamy is bad? Just like that?? Look around yourself, so many people you will find are indulged in cheating their wives every where.having illegal sex, look at the rampant dance bar,prostitute culture.. which world are you living in Mr Yeda Anna?? Islam makes the same thing legal.It says you can not marry more than four women. For marrying second wife you have o take permission from the first wife(which is difficult)and you have to do justice between the two.Marriage means security for woman.It means the woman will not be used a s an objet, she will be given legal status,inheritance, her kids will not be bastards.

How many Muslim friends around you have more than one wife? The prophet (PBUH) was polygamous, yes , but there were several reasons and very valied reaons behind it.He never married any woman for sexual gratification.His first wife was 40yr old while he was just 25 yrs old!! and apart from Ayesha and zainab, all his wives were beyond 50yrs.It was 1400 yrs ago, and you need to study the tribal culture and customs to understand things fully. Its easy for me to say How can Draupadi marry five men at a time? does it make any sense if you quote anything out of context?

Exactly Farhan, there is no point of taking points and quoting texts which is irrelevant today, but can u ignore the fact that most of the terrorist activities that are going on, are involving muslims .U need to accept the facts here man. As for the Draupadi, its still better to have 5 man then to marry a 5 year old or to have sex with 8 year old irrespective of tradition involved.You need to be kind that is what missing in your culture. As for marrying 40 year old, I think u know the fact that she was a rich lady.

Recent Discovery channel a programme was aired showing how USA used "enriched Uranium" in Irag war.According to you this may not be a "terrorist act".What happened in Ahmedabad was surely not a terrorist act according to you.What raj Thakeray is doing in Maharshtra is also fine by you.So thats why Muslims are seen every where doing terrorism. Ayesha, eight year old girl was daughter of prophet Muhammed(PBUH) closest friend AbuBaqr(PBUH).Abu Baqr, as a gesture of strengthening their bounds, gave Ayesha's hand in marriage to the prophet.The prophet used to play with her and roam around with her and had proper relationships with her only after she was quite old enough.It was like child marriage system which is till so rampant in india in villages.Theis is 1400 yrs ago in a desert land.refusing Abubaqr's marriage was out of question for the prophet.Ayesha remembered Him and loved him all her life years after the prophet's death.had he abused her in any way she wouldnt have loved him for so may years later.The prophet never had sex with 8 yr old girl.Clear your mind please.

If a man is pious and his wife is a sinner, the man will get paradise, but his wife will be in hell.And that man will get virgin woman for his company in Heaven.Whats wrong in That????Wont you yourself would like to have the similar treatment in heaven? The boys mentioned in Heaven are those who died in this world before reaching adulthood.All such children will not be scrutinized for their deeds in this wolrd and will be kept in heaven irrespective of their beliefs and practices, since they died before reacing adulthood. Nowhere is it mentioned in Quraan that these boys will be used for sex. Wake up buddy. Stop spreading false hood

Islam does not dictate people to marry four women at a time.It "allows" you to do so if you want to have sex with more than one woman, that too with the permission from the first wife, and by marrying you are taking full responsibility of that woman and not just using her as sex object and disposing her off. Islam never says go and marry four women.there are hundreds of situations where a man may get in a situation and the religeon "allows" him to do it so that every thing remains "legal" and the rights of the "other" woman also protected.Islam dislikes a man marrying more than one time, if he is not able to maintain justice between the two wives. Its far better than a man marrying with one and having extra marital affairs with 10 women.

Slavery was ancient culture,You must have seen or heard stories about Gladiators of Rome.1400 years ago they were every where, and there was no way to simply stop the system at once. If you read Quraan it has discouraged slavery and mentioned rewards for those who liberate slaves. When there was a custom, that a man can have a slave girl and have sex with her, islam mentioned it is disliked. In fact there is a famous quote from the prophet Muhammed, that any man who brings up a slave girl, educates her well and then gets her married to a good person, he will be rewarded with paradise. So wake up and ponder!!
