Thackeray only mentioned the obvious- I agree he has used the wrong language and method to mention the obvious. On that the judge is absolutely right. But we are all missing the point- the problem is not Thackeray's words here. The underlining problem is the mismanagement of UP/Bihar by the political class there. Condemning Thackeray will not solve the underlining issue. The focus should be on why UP/Bihar has been mismanaged and how did theses politicians got away with it. Who is responsible, the politicians there or the people voting in UP/Bihar? This is the question that needs to be answered.

Not only Bihar and UP, but entire country. Where are these politians and why people elected those members again and again! It is the fault of our people who are electing their representatives without knowing the result!!!

Come look into how a society has been suffering in Maharashtra, and especially in the Mumbai-Pune region, due to rise of armed and unarmed lumpen elements as well as the misplaced militancy of the Shiv Sena and the MNS.
You will see a touching interpretation of a big dream that the Shiv Sena had given to the Maha people of Maharashtra, and see honestly -- in their rallies and those of MNS -- the doddering depiction of how far removed it all is from reality.

On who are you? If you are not a Marathi I don't want your cribbing, crying how bad Marathis are, we Marathis know very well how good all other Indians are? If we are ghaatees and let us be Gahaatees, why do you want to come here in our useless state, and live among useless people? You know what is better for you so why you come to a state where violence, crime, criminality and all other lumpen things happen? Why?

I am who I am, Roger.
A Maharashtrian by birth who started playing cricket well before your forefathers (Binny) started making uniform cloth in Medrass before the big bad flood.
I crib and cry that the marathi manoos today is not like the Lokmanya Tilak or Gokhale of yore.
It is some cartoon that misguides his people while he sits at home in his fortress drinking beer while his educated son and educated nephew have joined documented corrupticians like Lalu, Mayawati, Mulayum... giving inflammatory speeches to their 'vote-banks' before unleashing violence on the streets, damaging property (both public and private) causing harm to innocent people in addition to their intended targets.
Don't teach your grandmother to suck eggs.
Staying with the Laws of the Land is the only choice within our democratic framework.

Because it is a right to every Indian that he may go and live in any place in India. If you dont want other people in your state then go and create a new country.

Do you have data to provide how many white collar jobs are done by non maharashtrians? I have question,,,you know you claim to the world we have done this, we are good at this,,we are so educated,,,if that is the case why it is that non of multinational, international companies are flocking to your state and creting the jobs? We Marathis don't tell who to come to our state and whom not. Maybe there is something about Marathi which world likes and they do business in this state. And what is wrong if we want to stop people coming to our state and overwhelming our resources? Do you allow everybody in your house who walks on the street? Do you? About the constitution, where does it say that you can allow illegal criminals in your state to do illegal things where?
