Let us all thank Panditji Jawaharlal Nehru for the yet another gift to the nation by dividing our country on language for the linguistic mafia like thakereys, vatal nagarajs, karunanidhies and others. The spill over is the water problem.
The best thing is, he single handedly achieved this dishormony against sane advices of several leaders like Rajaji.

This is nonsense. If the states had not been divided, the Mallus, Telugus and Kannadigas would now be fighting for their rights outside of Tamil domination under the old Madras Presidency.
Linguistic basis for states give local cultures the oxygen to take pride in their past.
Exclusionist politics such as those by thakerays, vatal nagaraj and vaiko are just that - extremist. They do not disprove the wisdom of Nehru-Gandhi's actions.

Right or Wrong; it is part of our history now and we must accept it.
And since states have been divided on linguistic lines, there is nothing wrong in learning the lingua franca of the state one has opted to stay / work / study in, for better communication with the local people.
No one is stopping you from keeping / teaching your own language as well.
Staying with the Laws of the land is the only choice within our democratic framework.

Dividing the nation happens in the Madras presidency- AP,K and TN is doing quite well now-If TN, KN and TN continue at this rate for another 10-15 years, they will reach the same stadard of living as Autralia. What is wrong with that? what is your point?
