Right or Wrong; it is part of our history now
and we must accept it.

And since states have been divided on linguistic lines,
there is nothing wrong in learning the
lingua franca of the state one has opted
to stay / work / study in, for better communication with the local people.

No one is stopping you from keeping / teaching
your own language as well.

Staying with the Laws of the land is the
only choice within our democratic framework.
