....If one still assert that people from Bihar and UP are making things happen in Maharashtra, then we don't want such progress. Why can't they go back to their own state and help it progress and let us suffer without them.
3) If UP/Bihar is poor because of leaders like Mulayam/Laloo, then why they still gets votes in Mumbai? In pseudo democracy like ours you don't need majority to call shots. If leaders like Laloo become powerful in Mumbai, then Maharashtra will suffer. 4) And don't tell me Biharis are not biased. For Railway recruitment dates are arranged such that a Bihari can attend interviews at multiple places. Special trains are arranged for them. In railways you will find mostly people from UP/Bihar. Are all of them got it through merit. 5) Maharashtra's culture is getting diluted because influx from outside. Question is not whether outsiders should be allowed or not, but how much should be allowed. Go to Nagpur, you will hardly hear Marathi on road. 6) If rubber is stretched too much it will break. Tomorrow Maharashtra should not go way of Assam, Kashmir, Punjab to preserve its identity. 6) Keeping aside of regional views, why average Mumbaikar should suffer? It is just become impractical to stay in this city because of population explosion. Infrastructure has collapsed.
Jai Hind. Jai Maharashtra. Request every body to say Mumbai instead of Bombay.

If the north indians in MH are not showing any disrespect to native language, i dont see that there is anything wrong in talking in hindi. They dont have the right to preserve there culture? I dont see any issue in u adopting marathi culture but its matter of choice..If someone wants to follow his culture and language then he has every right to do that...

what is the definition of country. It is just official right. Basically countries are boundaries of culture. There are common things and their are differenced. Why there are visas and restrictions for going from one country like UAE to other like Saudi who speak same language. Why not so in Maharashtra? Why not Indians swamp UK and USA because we can work longer and for lesser salary? Why there is separate status for Kashmir? Why central govt funds are distributed on basis of population and not on entirely on basis of origin of funds or on good governance or population control achieved by states ? Why leaders like Raj are arrested and why leaders like no hues and cries for Akalis who adore Bhindranwale? Why teaching Hindi is not compulsory only in state of Tamilnadu? Why state govt not removing slums in Mumbai when there is clear law that slums after 1995 are illegal. Why article 370 in Kashmir? On what basis Mulayam/Laloo ask north Indian votes in Mumbai? Why most shop boards are not also in Marathi when there is law which stipulates so....Too many questions...humm...Life is just not black and white..right?

well if that is your argument .. then why other cities which have majority Marathis ( like Kolhapur, Satara ) etc have not progresses? Its true that people move to cities and Mumbai happened to be a city developed by the British and people from all over India came over and made it what it is. You can't ask them to go back now ..
Infact with the progess India is making there are smaller cities which are develoing Bangalore has a lot of Marathis, Cochin is now developed, so is Hyderabad all becasue of cross movement of people.State is just a physical boundary for governing.. India is everyones country..
The examples you are giving are just plain politics and Raj is nothing but a politician trying to gain likeage just like Jayalalitha or any other regional party. For that very reason its better to have a National party ( however bad it maybe) rather than local politicians and local parties that casue communal tension like Shiv Sena..
