attacks on north indians... its a shame
by bhupinder singh on Feb 12, 2008 06:55 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

i would like to bring it to the notice of all of you thats there is no state where things like this is happening. Marathi people are working in banglore, hydrabad, chennai.. i mean all over india.. no state is protesting against their presence.. its only in maharastra, they raise the question of marathi pride and marathi manus. i mean if you are capable enough then why dont you compete with the north indians. your protest is simply your frustation and is showing your incapability to fight compitition.
this is a competitive world and everybody has to fight for himself/herself.
moreover we should forget the regionalism and should believe that we are indian.
we , the same people , whether its maharastrian or punjabi, or gujrati or northndian or madrasi ,; when we go to US and there we feel the same kind of situation, then we wont say that we are maharastrian or punajbi or north indian. we just say that we are indian and there we fight together.
Are we opportunist??????
I believe that why Britisher called us Dogs.

I am not sure why the Britishers called you a Dog but they knew Marathis were hard working. Thats one of the reason why they established the financial capital in Mumbai. We are okay with anyone working in Mumbai without crime. Its the crime that worries us. Why cant the northies integrate into our society. Should we loose our culture in our city to them?

marathis are not at all hardworking... take it for granted... had they been hardworking other cities of maharastra also would have been developed on the same line as mumbai.. mumbai was developed by the persons from other states... take film industry... 90 % of the perople are from north or are muslim.. whether its bachaan, kapoors, khans, dhermendra, ... you name it and its a persom from other state...take other bussiness, whether its hotel, or diamonds other state people are doing it... had marathi people been hard working, there would not have been so many sucides by the farmers... you know where they are hard working.. in taking bribes and doing rampage like what they are doing rt now.... had they been hard working , ambani or tata would have been from maharastra.. take it for granted , marathis are not hard working..

When the British arrived in India, Mumbai did not belong to Marathis. British made Mumbai the financial hub because of its access to the sea and not because of Marathis. It only had fishermen and parsis. It was developed by the British and the later when they left, Maharashtra was formed and Mumbai was made the capital of Maharashtra.
