RE:attacks on north indians... its a shame

When the British arrived in India, Mumbai did not belong to Marathis. British made Mumbai the financial hub because of its access to the sea and not because of Marathis. It only had fishermen and parsis. It was developed by the British and the later when they left, Maharashtra was formed and Mumbai was made the capital of Maharashtra.
