ha ha ha. You idiot moron Thackeray is a Kayastha (CKP if you care to know) and YES, Kayasthas were in large number in Shivaji's army and were regarded as VERY loyal to Shivaji. You morons don't know anything and you come and write here.
Even though he is Kayastha he made Koknastha Brahmin as Maharashtra's first Brahmin CM and then he made Narayan Rane, a Maratha, as CM. He could have made ANYONE from his family as CM but contrary to what you idiots think about him, he is selfless person to the core. No wonder millions of Maharashtrins respect him including greats such as Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Sachin Tendulkar, Nana Patekar and the likes.
