Even though he is Kayastha he made Koknastha Brahmin as Maharashtra's first Brahmin CM and then he made Narayan Rane, a Maratha, as CM. He could have made ANYONE from his family as CM but contrary to what you idiots think about him, he is selfless person to the core. No wonder millions of Maharashtrins respect him including greats such as Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Sachin Tendulkar, Nana Patekar and the likes.
