Crap.. I am a keralite but I dont such support such divas. If you stay in Maharashtra which provides you food, job & shelter then be loyal to it.

Y it is nonsence ?
If we can celebate 14 Feb as Valentine Day in a Grand Manner, which is not atall a Hindu Culture then why not Uttar Bhartiya Diwas, which is a part of India

we should refrain from celebrating Valentine Day as well as Uttar bhartiya Diwas. If you are resident in Maharashtra then why Uttar bhartiya Diwas? why not Maharashtra Din. Of course you can celebrate it in private in the same way as our NRIs do in foreign regarding Independence Day. But that cannot be done publicly. For private celebration Maharashtrians will also join PTites. But if they do so publicly then definetly there will be tensions.

Whats your problem in life Vikram ? people should be free to do what they want unless you want this country to become Pakistan. DOn't sit and define what is private and what is public.

exactly.. never heard of this term. Anyway, Vikram , your view would have been deeply respected in Taliban, but here in India, if I want to celeberate "Asheesh Sinha divas" in public, there's no law or civil duties that stops me from doing so..
Anyway, dont know about you, but I wont hit a guy for saying Jai Maharashtra in Bihar
