The news item is rather strange. The man offering view is Director General of BSF not any Intelligence Agency chief. BSF is only a security group combating attacks not conducting investigations or collecting intelligence information. How and why he is commenting on such sensitive issue is not clear. Secondly, infiltration of terrorists is a daily routine for Pakistan - they just don't wait for some auspicious time, nor is the Kashmir sole route of infiltration. There are trains and buses to Pakistan, thanks to our successive governments, then there is the flight, leave alone the sea route. Having said how many are waiting to enter in, the DG has surprisingly not stated about how many have already entered India and are working here for the terror activities. To top it all, communal tension in Kashmir is as old as our independence, it has nothing to do with assembly elections while the DG thinks this is a election stunt. What kind of news item is this?

Prabhat, how innocent you are. You are saying that, they can not sneak through by air or bus. Do you know, many a people who comes thro these routes, simply disappear once they land in India.

- They are different kind of people. Mostly from intelligence wing. Here we are talking about hardcore fighters. These guys prefer ( mostly) the jungle route.

I am aware of ISI. I am also aware that the influx and infiltration are going on unabated. But how BSF is saying this leaving the prime investigating Agencies like RAW mum is the question. Is this told for media consumption or is there something else. If there are already so many inside this country and there are special areas earmarked as mini-bangladesh and mini-pakistan in our cities like Jaipur and Hyderabad with thousands of terrorists living there legally, nobody is bothered to control them, why suddenly 800 is a big news? And why did he not tell this to the PM and the Home Minister? I cannot be a sheikh for the next ten thousand births; I am a Hindu and will be a Hindu.

Abhi, don't charge the foor fellow. He talks only about DG of BSF. He has rightly pointed out that the job of DG of Border Security Force is to secure the border. He can not talk about the internal security, that is not his job. He not only talking about internal security, but also terming that as communal. There are other security agencies in this country, who are designated to handle the internal security. As the Director General of BSF, he should do his job at best.

My friend do you know BSF have a very strong intelligence wing also and they cannot man every single patch of land in the border before stating any thing go and visit the border then you will see what they are doing don't just spread crap here and prove your ignorance.....

I do understand they have good network. Notwithstanding everything, we see bloodbath in one or the other city every second week. See the fate of Surat - once city of diamonds is now city of bombs. Who is doing this so coolly and where is all that intelligence in stopping these guys?
