just shows how manipulative, and narrow minded karunanidhi is. they have financial benefits out of the project, and are willing to go to any length for the project ot go through.
religious or not - there are serious conerns abt security and environmental issues with the project. its no use to create and maintain the project if its not profitable. by profitable i meant - profitable for the nation (not for karunanidhi and his ilk getting dredging contracts)

Rather than taking it to a personal levels... the govt as well the people should think of these in a more practical way and should not be either cheated or manipulated by any individual nor for any politically motivated gains for coming election...
