just shows how manipulative, and narrow minded karunanidhi is. they have financial benefits out of the project, and are willing to go to any length for the project ot go through.
religious or not - there are serious conerns abt security and environmental issues with the project. its no use to create and maintain the project if its not profitable. by profitable i meant - profitable for the nation (not for karunanidhi and his ilk getting dredging contracts)
