Karnataka ........... a rogue State?
by Global Analyst on Apr 29, 2008 11:57 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Karnataka has either already acquired or fast acquiring the tag of a rogue state. These people have a scant respect for the Supreme court order. They have river & border disputes with all neighbouring states. Compared to other neighbouring states such as Maharashtra, Tamilnadu, AP & Kerala, their language & culture is least known in the world compared to other neighbouring states. Therefore, this is giving raise to jealousy and they have a inferiority complex and insecure about their language & culture leading to Linguistic chauvinism. People are lazy. Therefore they depend on other states' people to develop. This gives rise to lingusitic terrorist organisations such as KANNADA RAKSHANA VEDIKE OR KANNADA CHALUVALI etc.,
Some of the disputes with neighbours:
Karnataka vs. MH over Belgaum,
Karnataka vs. Kerala over Kasargod,
Karnataka vs. Goa over water,
Karnataka vs. AP over Almatti,Krishna.
Karnataka vs. TN over Cauvery,Hogenekkal
They have built several check dams illegally over the rivers flowing in their states (WATER THIEVES!!). The big joke is that they have scant respect for other languages of their own state %u2013 TULU, KONKANI, COORGI. They have scant respect for COORG culture, Konkani culture and will not take steps to protect or develop.

This Global analyst must be an Tamilian. Reasons for the above issues.

Karnataka vs. MH over Belgaum,
-- Maharashtrians migrated to Belgaum in huge numbers & claiming that Belgaum belongs to Maharashtra (Same as problem of Mumbai -- outsiders dominance)..
Karnataka vs. Kerala over Kasargod,
-- No need to tell anything. Ask anybody in Kasargod. All the peole in Kasargod knows Kannada & their mother tongue is either Tulu/ Kannada. What is the wrong with KRV, if MNS can fight for Mumbai, why can't KRV fight for Karnataka?
Karnataka vs. Goa over water,
--Goa is doing ploitics for Drinking water projects.
Karnataka vs. AP over Almatti,Krishna.
AP is illigaly building dams & check dams allover Thungabhadra & Krishna for utilizing Karnataka's share of water.
Karnataka vs. TN over Cauvery,Hogenekkal
As everybody knows Tamilian's think that they can get elephant's share of cauvry water by shouting till their mouth is teared.

So, it's not problem with Karnataka. It's the problem with surrounding states which are trying to take the advantage Kannada peoples innocence.

This stupid guy is talking about Tulu, Konkani & Kodava who enjoy the freedom & prospering in Karnataka. Do you know what Tamil Nadu government has done for the Toda speaking people in the hill districts of Niligiri. Todas and their culture are becoming extinct due to the domination of Tamil in those hill district. How dare you call Karnataka a rougue state when you tamil people are known for producing women & child bombers who also killed our PM and several incocent people in Srilanka.

[edit] Language
The Toda language is a member of the Dravidian family. Like their ethnology, the language is aberrant and difficult phonologically. It is now recognized that Toda (along with its neighbor Kota) is a member of the southern subgroup of the historical family proto-South-Dravidian; it split off from South Dravidian, after Kannada and Telegu, but before Malayam. In modern linguistic terms, the aberrancy of Toda results from disproportionately numerous rules, both early and recent in their ordering, which are not shared by the other South Dravidian languages (and shared only to a small extent by Kota)[1]
They used to be strict vegetarians but some can be now be seen eating non-vegetarian food. Although many Toda have abandoned their traditional distinctive huts for concrete houses,[5] a movement is now afoot to build tradition barrel-vaulted huts and during the last decade forty new huts have been built and many Toda sacred dairies renovated

Hey Mr. Analyst.. You are going to conclusions based on a very limited set of premises..
Belgaum issue- Karnataka has Belgaum. MH is fighting. Not Karnataka.
Kasargod Issue- Kerala has it, Ka is fighting. So if it has gained a city and lost a city.

Ka vs Goa over water. - Please elaborate.
Ka Vs AP over Almatti- Have a look at the people in NK. Drinking water is a rare commodity. They are not asking for more water to grow rice, as the TN guys do. The crops are low on water consumption too.

Ka vs TN over cauveri- This is the fight for riches and exploitation. TN part of the cauvery basin grows crop which are water intensive such as rice. They belonged historically to a stronger British govt. which got the rules in its favor. Pity nothing much can be changed now.

About the other languages you speak of, you are probably right. Educate me on this, about the %ge of population speaking these languagess, and what the govt has done and what according to you should be done for these languages.
