It is very heartening & gratifying to note that Hinduism and its culture are propogated wholeheatredly on a high scale in USA by the NR.They are not forgetting our civilisation, tradions, cultures & celebrate everything connected to them-say festivals,or all religous on a grand scale. And when such things come, they remain more united and unequivocal.Excellent Hindu temples of Balaji at Pitsburg,Chicago, Houstn etc and Swamy Narayan temple at various parts of US stand testimony for their profound and unstinted respect, devotion & dedication for Hinduism which is unparallel in its richness of values. It is a matter of great pride that such a massive temple with an array of activities is springing up at New York /New Jersy commensurate to the size of the twin cities. These NRI Hindu guys are becoming role models even for the resident Hindus who are, being busy with their routine, slowly forgetting their culture. Our customs, food, values, music & philosophy are being emulated by Americans owing to their inherent richness while native Hindus are forgetting.I wondered when I found the violinist in a music concert of a famous play back Telugu singer to be an American. As part of their weekly curriculum, most of the Hindu parents in US send their children to Chinmaya Mission despite their busy schedule, while in India,we do not bother to ensure a weekly visit even to a nearby temple, Hinduism, thanks to the enlightened Hindu NRIs, is certainly growing more outside than in India.Hats off!!

Please dont be suprised if our people wears Bindi/sindhoor on their fore head, here in USA. Hindu gentle men also keeps idols in their houses and worship. We celeberate all major festivals together. Here Jains & Sikhs and Hindus no difference, Hindhus whole heatedly accepts thier deities in Hindu temple.

Kafir means one who disbelives, the word KUFR means STATE OF DISBELIEF,now what is so derogatory about this? If you are not a Muslim, then it means you dont belive in Islam,so what is so offensive about this word in arabic? The uncle of Muhammed whose name is Abutalib was very endearing to him and in fact he is the one who took care of Muhammed against his presecutors. But Abutalib died as a KAFIR ie a disbeliver, despite his deepest affection and love for Muhammed. So a KAFIR from islamic perspective is some one who doesnt belive in Islam.Thats all

Then the first thing you need to do is to tell your fellow muslims who try to harm non muslims in the name of Kafir etc terms. Infact, 99 percent of so called muslims are really kafirs, since they donot have a belief in ALLAH or ALL PERVADING GOD by way of personal experience of what ALLAH or GOD is. The true meaning of Kafir is that any one who had not realized or had a personal experience of ALL PERVADING DIVINITY even for a split second is to be called kafir, and this term is same as the word Bramhin in Hinduism. Any one who have a personal experience of ALL PERVADING GOD is to be called as Bramhin. We cannot consider every tom, dick and harry who had groewn beard, goes to Masjid 5 times a day, who goes to mecca etc cannot be considered as believer. When you believe some thing by way of experience, it is called true belief,a nd not by mere listening or by mere reading of the book. EXPERIENCE OF ALL PERVADING GOD IS THE KEY HERE. THIS IS THE TRUTH OF ALL RELIGIONS.

Hi Hindu Guys, dont try to explain some one who is sitting inside a well and thinks his holy book is the only one in world. i know about tht holy book . Mr.Ali u may not be knowing that your holy book has various versions in various countries. many people over written that to satify there own needs. but poor people in muslims followed everything. i feel muslims as misleaded peoples.
