I believe there is some formula for allocation of funds. The formula ideally should be based on consensus and agreement among all states. The central funds should be allocated/ distributed only based on the agreed formula. If that were the case why certain groups exert pressure to extract funds. What will happen if all states resort to the same tactic. It is the responsibilty of the media to focuss and comment on these issues. They should study the existing system and point out the lacunae and if possible come out with the solution. They can also invite learned people among public to speak and wtite about it. What is the use of meadia/ channels conducting opinion polls with out disseminating relevant information.

The money allocation should be as per population % at the time of 1947 stataewise. These BIMARU stataes do not contribute anything positive but just ask for money in the name of development. THIS SHOULD BE STOPPED NOW . ENOUGH TIME HAS BEEN GIVEN TO THESE STATES TO DEVELOP> They have developed now MUFTA KI ROTTIYA TODANEWALE attitude in a joint family.

First you go to these states and see what kinds of contribution they are doing. Even right from fighting for the indepen etc.. to till now they contribution is not hide. You pls open you eyes and see. Most of the minerals are belong to Jharkhand, Bihar and Orisa. Most of the grain has been grown specially White, RICE & Plus from these states only. So on what basis you are saying it bemaru state. The basis problem in that states are infrastructure and that is to be provided by Government. The Government who nither want to develop these states nor want to finance any such thing.
See the percentage of Persons qualify for the post of IAS, IFS, IIT, IIM etc.. and then compare with your state then you will find your real position.
Most of the north India Lands are cultivative lands however in other state like Gujarat, Maharastra and Andra maximum lands are infertile so they offer land to industries on cheaper rate to put industries and same may not be possible in North India especilly in U.P and Bihar. Hence pls look at your view and change for safegaurd of our country.

It is not that simple. First of all it is not just the numbers, you have to look to percent of people qualifying for the above as you mentioned, there is a lot of difference in 10 out of 20 and 11 out of 100. Also, you are correct in saying that Bihar has maximum amout of minerals, and UP is one of the most fertile areas, but the fact lies that the people here are not getting the benifits. They are always facing the apathy of the center and the state goverment or else how do you justify highest number of migrants specially at the labor class from UP and Bihar, why would one migrate if they have enough employment and opportunities in their own state. Further, the things are made even more complicated by the cast and community divisions that are promoted by different governments thus putting a blnket on the problems and not resolving them.

Well said Mr Singh. It is the creed of the so called well off "english speaking Pseudo's who sit in their A/c rooms and pass judgement on people who mine and send the coal to run their power plants and mine and produce steel for use in their factories.
These people should go to the CIS countries of ex Soviet Union and see how much hatered and scum is there in the hearts of Tajiks, Uzbekis, Georgians, Armenians, Ukaraine etc etc against the current Russian Federation citizens who exploited their mineral wealth and cheap labour and profitted by using the raw materials to manufacutre finised goods for sale and use. These regions (now countries) were not allowed to grow and develop and were deprived of a economic model of sustenance by Russians.
It is indeed very demoralising to note that Indians who are now able to read and write and earn their own livlihood have gone away from their own brothern alongwith whom they fought the enemies of this land calling it an Indian Nation.
Areybhai.. America is offering Visas for all of you such people. Why not go and grab it
