About some postes in this thread

There is nothing to do with Brahminism with this great article. Yes he is a Brahmin, and yes, this is what a brahmin should be. I am a non brahmin and I know in Vedas the cast-ism was done on basis of Karma and not by priviledge. A brahmin by birth may not be a brahmin if he doesn't have a quality of a brahmin, that is knowledge, wisdom, compassion and lack of greed and fame. In Vedic period, a son of a 'sudra' could be a Brahmin, if he had those qualities and vise versa. The so called Brahminical priviledged society is born after Manusamhita, which is a distortion of classical Vedantic Hinsuism, which gave us the sin of casteism by-birth and untouchability.
What this person did is he followed Geeta in his whole life, that is he did his karma with devotion, without thinking about the fruit of it. Yes, he is a true Brahmin, not only by birth, but by his qualities. Really inspires. Reminds me about Vivekananda's teachings.

I endorse fully your views. Hats off to your clear thinking and neat writing with maturity for the knowledge of most of the readers who have misunderstood the true meaning of Brahmin.

I only wish everyone thought like you. But that isn't happening. And I'm sorry for my post. Was just trying to highlight how the new age robbers in India are deceiving everyone and denigrating our country and its people.

i fully agree with u Mr. pattu
there r numerous examples
shabri was a lady of lower caste, lord rama ate fruits with her.
vidur was also the son of a maid servent(so called sudra),lord krishna took lunch with him neglecting that of duryodhan.
narad muni in his previous birth was the son of a maid servent, but he became a gr8 devotee.
i dont know how some rascals made the varna-ashram as caste system
but it is said that this downfall is due to kal yug,the era of god lessness.
