it is a pity you have not tried to understand the father of our nation who is father of entire human race today. You even dont know how india is respected through out the world just for GANDHI alone... leave other aspects like intelligence, hardworking nature, family values, religious tolerance, god fearing, culture, music, veda, yoga etc etc... Who said India has been destroyed? Please think coolly...

With due respect to the man's determination, it has to be said that Gandhi has taught us to be well-behaved cowards...
Tolerance beyond a certain limit is cowardice...
One does not need a Gandhi to learn or imbibe values and tolerance; of course the world respects him... that does not take away the other side (or side effects) of his stubborness and cowardice...
It does not mean that one is jumping over the head if his perception does not match with the sympathisers of Gandhi...

Thogh, no fan of Gandhi, I must correct you where you are wrong. Gandhi did not teach us to be cowards. If one person has got the power to teach the entire race to be cowards, there has got to be something wrong with the race. The fact is; that we have always been cowards, and that is why, Gandhi appealed so much to us. I would like to refer you to 'Madhyakaaleen Bharat Ka Itihas' by Prof Ashirwadilal Shrivastava. In the chapter describing Allauddin Khilji's rule, it has been mentioned that in those days, there was a law, which forced Hindus to open their mouths to accept Paan-spit from Muslims' mouths, if Muslims so desired. Hindus did not protest once. A race that has tolerated this much does not need Gandhi to make them cowards.

We are under the illusion that carrying sword and fighting with blood shed alone is brave otherwise cowardice. How sad?. Tackling intelligently without blood shed and achieving what we want is superior.
