I would like to modify your statement about recognizing merit.(1)America: Your statement is "America full recognizes Merit ..Many from India have attained the highest positions in America"BUT, NO INDIAN OR ANY OTHER PERSON IS ALLOWED TO EVEN CONTEST FOR THE HIGHEST CONSTITUTIONAL OFFICES. So, when it comes to the highest offices, America, first removes people who are not 'NATURAL-BORN AMERICANS', and THEN LOOKS INTO THE MERIT OF THE REMAINING PEOPLE. I am not saying it is wrong...In fact, it is the right system.(2)India: Merit is NOT LOOKED INTO, in general...for example, Rahul Gandhi, once a child in the arms of Pranab Mukherjee will be the boss in no time, because he is son of Sonia. WORSE, INDIA ALLOWS NON-INDIANS ALSO TO CONTEST FOR HIGH CONSTITUTIONAL OFFICES...AGAIN, TAKE THE CASE OF SONIA...SHE WAS A BORN ITALIAN, BROUGHT UP AS AN ITALIAN,..AND ONCE SHE MARRIED INTO AN INDIAN FAMILY,THAT TOO, PROBABLY CALCULATED ROYAL FAMILY, SHE HAS DONE THE PAPERWORK AND HAS BECOME ELIGIBLE FOR ANY OFFICE IN THE COUNTRY...WHICH PAVES THE WAY FOR HER LOOTING THE COUNTRY AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY...The situation is similar to the fate of many girls in developing countries...they want visa in a rich country...some old man comes in search of a maid, etc...and they marry, get a stay visa, and the girl is a wife for visa purposes, but she is abused in all sorts of manner by her 'owner'.. So, India should amend the constitution to ALLOW ONLY NATURAL-BORN INDIANS FOR HIGH OFFICES LIKE THE US

and yet we have in France where sikhs cannot wear turbans in school and in america where sikhs have to remove turbans at airports. Only UK is totally secular with no laws that insult or ban other religions practices. Even they have strict laws

This is all due to our Muslim friends. Before sept 11th 2001 everything was smooth. Don't blame the West and the US . They are doing this for public safety.If you want make everything insult . Feel free. Complain this to your Arab friends. They are the prime reason for all these problems you see in the airport and in normal life.

These sikhs and muslims should stop behaving so dramatically. they both have inferiority complex, because they work in the lower rung of the society. musliums are shopkeepers and sikhs are taxi drivers.

antelop, You are right. YOU CAN SAY THAT AGAIN. Who the hell want to be in Russia and China? If you take a poll,I bet majority Indians prefer to go to US,Australia or Europe that includes Communist leaders son and daughters.

And yet many Indians are feeling that US is looting them in giving them Advance technology. What a morons.. Neta log ne issue ko sidha ulta kar diya. And now people in india are being totally misguided. The truth is US is being very helpful here. And yes they benefit by this relation too. But wo apko free me dega kya.. uska apana bhi koi policy, interest hai..Dono ko laabh hai..
