When we got our Independence in 1947, we also got a country in our neighourhood called Pakistan. Well if our friendship with Russia was wrong as many of commmentor are saying here. THan Pakistan should have been the Best and devoleped country by now. Because from day one they had Friendship with America.

Abbas to be honest, real honest. Pakistans economy was doing lot better than India even until mid 70s. Pakistan's problem is not frienship with America but the fact that Pak could be messed up despite support from US..Thank the thick headed Pak military for that, and yes Islam as well. It is Islamism that killed the cat in Pakistan and an overdose of it came during Ziaul Haq..this moron single handedly took Pakistan to the middle ages. Ayub Khan inflicted the death blow to Pakistan, Yahya Khan dismembered it and tore it up with his genocide of Bengalis (mostly Hindus), and Ziaul Haq did the janaza...Musharaff will probably hve to bury it. America had no hand in it. It is only because US buys cars that Japan sells them and make money. India shold do the same.

Abbas, India is developed because of its willingness to be developed and not because of any support from Russia or any other country. We Indians have worked really hard to reach this level. Had Pakistanis would have taken the same route, they would have also reached similar level but there system runs on three A's (Allah, Army, America) which is barring them to make any progress. See if you cheat in exams, you can just be a passout but if you do work hard and study (apart from taking and sharing notes with fellow friends, who also gain while sharing), you can be a topper. Hope i was able to make you understand why Pakistan is not at par with India

yes of course you are right .. we are on the World Map because we really worked hard.
During the time Indians were working hard.. Pakistan was busy producing their own copies for terrorists and developing Nuclear Weapons..
The result is : India today has everything and has to decide what it has to with it ... Pakistan is left with a lot of population ( terrorists) and doesn't knows what to do with them.
