Not accepting the myths as reality is not a deniel of the myths. The myths will continue to exist even if it is proved to be a myth. What the affidavit says is correct, There is no proof. Geological strctures and bodies were always associated with myth all aross the world..

People with common sense should remember that Rama exists as a hero who once lived somewhere in asia and ruled as a king. He had set good examples with respect to abandoning power for duty. This story is the ssence of Rmayana and the stroy is the essence of Hundu religion.. Now Rama was a human being and did lots of mistakes and had to take difficult decions in ceratin situations which can always be questioned (Bali for example)..That is a diff issue..

Also remember, Hindu religion has much bigger that Ram. or Ramayana..Essence of Hindu religion existed even before Ram was born..Many of the great Hindu scholars whose thesis on life and its purpose lived much before Rama was born..nd to be honest Rama was more a warrior and did not have his own decisions .He had to always depend on Gurus for desiphering Good or Bad..And Even the gurus dpepended on the works of earlier Gurus on the subjecy..

That why the saying goes, 'Life is a Mayajaal (illusion)'. One can say all religions of the world are based on mythologies not just Hinduism. And nothing wrong either provided people drawn sustenance and nourishment from their faith. It then comes down to weighing up benefits of beliefs versus rationality. And beliefs will always triumph because rationalism cannot completely provide the sustenance.

What's the proof that God Exists? If you contend to the proofs as claimed on World Church of God website (now there is a plethora of articles on this ... including your co-religionist Zakir Naik's artciles), you also have to accept Ram. Myths are evrywhere... myths are associated with Muhammad (read the World of Fatwas by Arun Shourie), with Abraham (after all how can Hagar get a stream of water... Zamzam... by a simply striking a club..).. with Christianity and almost every faith.. first look into the myths of our own religion before placing comments on others".. rationalism is a nature... those who call themselves rationalists are the niggest hypocrites..
