messed up perspectives
by ag on Sep 14, 2007 07:33 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Somewhere down the history lane, our perspectives got screwed. Instead of understanding and following the valuable lessons of life in these epics, we started obsessing with physical historical evidences and other crap. The main essence of these epics has been lost in the public view. I grew up learning Ramayana without even having a glimpse of bridge. if this will continue, so be it. I'm more worried about it's spiritual significance. Hindu nationalist and many Islamic parties are mere opportunists, who jump on such issues when they have nothing else better to do. I would be more concerned about affecting a natural formation in the sea , rather than something described in a text which i have never seen!

If you want to see the bridge Mr.AG why dont you go and jump into the sea and see it for yourself.

This is the mentality of Indians(Specifically Hindus). Take Tasleema case somewhere in Bangladesh fatwa is released and these Muslim leaders in hyderabad openly declare in Media they would kill her and no one bothers, Davinci Code is opposed vigorously accross the world by christians as it questions Bachelorhood of Christ. Here your sentiment your belief is killed ( i would say Murdered)how can you come up with such a stupid explaination. Even Rama faught aginst evil and he believed in following what his Dharma thaught him. But after reading Ramayana how come you are not able to find what your Dharma is ? why can't you see the hidden agenda of wiping out evidences Hinduism. They are doing this as they want future generation to drift away from Hindu religion.... With all these evidences also ASi could daringly question the existence of Rama. When these are all wiped out dont you think any body can question the exisitence of everything... Isn't it?
