Somewhere down the history lane, our perspectives got screwed. Instead of understanding and following the valuable lessons of life in these epics, we started obsessing with physical historical evidences and other crap. The main essence of these epics has been lost in the public view. I grew up learning Ramayana without even having a glimpse of bridge. if this will continue, so be it. I'm more worried about it's spiritual significance. Hindu nationalist and many Islamic parties are mere opportunists, who jump on such issues when they have nothing else better to do. I would be more concerned about affecting a natural formation in the sea , rather than something described in a text which i have never seen!
